The Huawei tablet can connect to Wi Fi but cannot access the Internet

Check the settings of your router.

Step 1: Turn on the current wireless router that is connected.

Check whether you have enabled some security policies that restrict MAC or IP address connections, or the corresponding rate limiting policy, and if so, turn them off, otherwise only devices with specific MAC or IP addresses can connect.

1. Free public internet connections are not available.

1.Please enter the Wi-Fi search interface, click or press and hold the Wi-Fi network name, select not to save and then click to connect again, under normal circumstances, the phone will automatically pop up the verification page, follow the page prompts, and you can use it normally after completing the verification.

2.If the verification page can't pop up, you can do the following:

1) Close the browser and reopen it, click on any webpage and try again.

2) It is recommended that you enter " in the page address to see if the authentication page can be popped up.

4) Long press the Wi-Fi network, select Modify Network, check Show advanced options, and use the device MAC connection attempt.

3.If you still can't connect after successful verification, the number of public network connections may be too high, and we recommend that you use the mobile network temporarily.

If you are using a Huawei tablet that can connect to Wi-Fi but cannot access the Internet, you can use the following methods to troubleshoot the problem:

1. If you are using a home network, it is recommended to connect to other WiFi or mobile phone personal hotspots for testing and troubleshooting

1.If connected to other wifi is normal.

1) Please do not stay away from the router;

2) Please check whether the broadband account expires, restart the router and restart the tablet before trying;

3) If the router has been set to the blacklist and whitelist, you need to check whether the MAC address of the tablet is added to the router, if the router does not set the blacklist and whitelist, please power off the router and try to restart.

2.If you connect to other wifi, you can't get online.

1) Please turn the WLAN switch back on and try to connect;

Follow the on-screen prompts to restore. (Note: This action will delete the WLAN and Bluetooth connection records).

2. If you are using a public network:

1.Try using it in a place with a small amount and confirm that the hotspot is working properly.

2.Please check if you need to log in through a browser** to register before you can access the Internet.

3. If individual applications are not available online:

Enter Traffic Management and click to enter the Traffic Management page, click Application Networking, and check whether the WLAN permissions are checked for individual applications, and it is recommended to check all the WLAN permissions that need to be used for applications.

If the above methods do not resolve the issue, we recommend that you back up your data.

In this case, the WiFi network is not smooth, it may be recommended to check whether the WiFi network parameter configuration is correct?

If you are using a Huawei tablet and your tablet cannot connect to Wi-Fi, you can do the following steps:

1.Please place the tablet within the effective distance of the Wi-Fi hotspot, too far away will weaken the network signal and cause the network connection to be automatically disconnected.

The hotspot may have reached its maximum number of connections, so try connecting to a different available network.

3.If the Wi-Fi hotspot is an encrypted hotspot, enter the correct password and be case-sensitive.

1) If it's an encrypted hotspot:

On the Wi-Fi Settings page, click the hotspot you want to connect.

Enter your password and tap "Connect".

2) If it is an open hotspot:

On the Wi-Fi setting page, press and hold the name of the hotspot you want to connect to.

In the pop-up options dialog dialog menu, click "Modify Network". In the pop-up dialog box, select Show advanced options, click IP, select Static, manually enter information such as IP address and domain name, and save.

Once the connection is successful, the status bar will display an icon.

6.Please check whether the MAC address filtering function is enabled on the wireless router. If this feature is enabled, tablets that are not in the access list cannot connect to the Wi-Fi network. For details on how to set up, please refer to the router manual.

7.Some public Wi-Fi hotspots may require you to log in to connect on the web client, please contact the Wi-Fi hotspot provider for details.

If the problem persists, you can reset the network settings and restart it to use it normally.
