1. Differences and settings between AF-S and AF-C:
According to page 33 of the D5200 instruction manual:
AF-S Single Servo AF
Suitable for still subjects. Focus locks when the shutter release button is pressed halfway. The shutter can only be released when the camera is capable of focusing.
AF-C Continuous Servo AF
Suitable for moving subjects. The camera focuses continuously while the shutter-release button is pressed halfway. If the subject moves, the camera enables Focus Tracking for the final distance from the subject and adjusts the focus as needed.
At default settings, the shutter is released only when the camera is ready to focus.
Here's how to set it up:
2. ISO settings and usage methods:
See D5200 Instruction Manual, page 49:
"ISO sensitivity" is numerically equivalent to the speed of the film. The higher the ISO sensitivity, the less light is required, allowing you to use a higher shutter speed or a smaller aperture, but at the same time the greater the likelihood of noise (irregularly spaced bright pixels, fog, or streaks) in the image (more likely to produce noise at Hi equivalent settings of ISO 8000 to Hi 2 (ISO 25600 equivalent)). When Auto is selected, the camera automatically sets the ISO sensitivity according to the lighting conditions.
In the film era, the ISO of the most commonly used film was 100, and the DSLR camera was also defined with reference to this standard, and when actually used, the ISO of the DSLR camera was set at 100, and most of them would not have noise, which was very similar to film. In the film era, ISO above 400 was called fast film.
Now, the flexibility of ISO setting is very great when actually shooting, and you can generally set the maximum limit according to your own requirements for D5200 high sensitivity (the highest value that noise can accept), and then select Auto, so that D5200 can be automatically selected between 100-1600. Of course, when shooting still life, the ISO should be as low as possible, so that you can get the maximum possible noise-free **.

1. The autofocus is different:
AF-S single-shot autofocus (single) starts focusing with a half-press of the shutter.
AF C Continuous: Press the shutter halfway to start continuous focusing.
2. Different scenes suitable for shooting
The AF S is ideal for shooting portrait landscapes with fixed objects.
AF C is better for shooting moving objects, pets, etc., but the continuous focus of the activated camera will increase the power consumption.
3. Different lens motors:
There are AF lenses without a motor, while AF S lenses come with an ultrasonic motor.
-
The difference is: there is an AF lens without a motor, while an AF-S lens comes with an ultrasonic motor.
For DSLR digital cameras that do not have a focus motor, AF-S lenses cannot autofocus, but AF-S lenses can autofocus.
-
AF-S One-Shot AF is used to shoot stationary subjects, and the camera is half-pressed with the shutter to focus once, and the focus is locked, and the shutter is pressed to shoot.
AF-C Continuous Autofocus is used to shoot moving objects, and the shutter can be released at any time to shoot with the shutter half-pressed for continuous focus.
-
s is for single, which means to focus only once, and c is for continue, which means to continuously focus on the focus point.
The smaller the ISO, the better, and it is generally set to auto, mainly adjusting the shutter and aperture

1. Different modes.
AF-A: Autofocus.
Mode. AF-S: One-shot focus mode.
AF-C: Continuous focus mode.
2. The subject is different.
AF-A: The camera automatically selects the focus based on the subject.
AF-S: When the subject is stationary, the camera will automatically lock after focusing.
AF-C: Half Song press the shutter to continuously focus on the camera, and you can release the shutter at any time to shoot.
3. The focus is different.
AF-A: AF area.
af-s: The focus is not wild.
AF-C: The focus point is not fixed.
4. The main body is different.
AF-A: Automatically determines the mobility of the subject being photographed.
AF-S: The subject is not in the frame**, and the image is recomposed after focusing.
AF-C: Always aim the focus point where the subject is going to focus.
5. Different uses.
AF-A: Good for photographing moving objects.
AF-S: It is suitable for shooting still objects, such as landscapes, flowers, and still portraits.
AF-C: Suitable for shooting moving, moving objects.
-
AF-A, AF-S, and AF-C are all autofocus modes that are used for camera focusing.
AF-A is an intelligent autofocus mode within the AF mode, which selects the most suitable focusing mode according to the movement of the subject and the camera's environment.
AF-S is a one-shot autofocus mode where the camera automatically focuses when you press the shutter button, and when the focus is complete, it locks until you press the shutter button again.
AF-C is a continuous autofocus mode that allows the camera to continuously focus and track the movement of the subject to ensure clear images taken by the vertical stool, which is suitable for shooting moving, fast-moving objects, or continuous shooting.
These three modes need to be selected according to the specific situation, for example, when you shoot static subjects, AF-S mode can better ensure the accuracy of focus; When shooting moving objects, the AF-C mode allows for better focus tracking and sharpness.
-
This is the focus mode of the body:
AF-S One-Shot AF is used to shoot stationary subjects, and the camera is half-pressed with the shutter to focus once, and the focus is locked, and the shutter is pressed to shoot.
AF-C Continuous Autofocus is used to shoot moving objects, and the shutter can be released at any time to shoot with the shutter half-pressed for continuous focus.
AF-A Auto Servo Autofocus The camera automatically judges the movement of the subject and selects the AF-S AF-C mode.
The AF-S above is not a parameter of the lens, unlike the AF-S (SWM) of the AF-S ultrasonic motor lens
-
AF is the abbreviation of Auto Focus in English.
AF camera is short for autofocus camera.
In the case of a camera, the autofocus is locked, and the light is emitted by itself, so the focusing accuracy is independent of the brightness and contrast of the subject, so it can shoot smoothly even in dark environments such as in the mountains.
This camera is automatically adjusted using an electronic rangefinder. When the camera shutter button is pressed, the electronic rangefinder can move the lens backwards and forwards to the corresponding position, or rotate the lens to the desired position, depending on the distance of the subject.
-
AF-C: It is continuous focus, suitable for shooting moving objects;
AF-S: Single-shot focus, suitable for shooting still subjects;
AF-A: Lets the camera automatically select AF-C and AF-S modes.
Mirrorless has the advantage of mirrorless, small size and can be replaced at the same time, and the image quality is much better than that of card telephoto. Personal suggestions and opinions for your reference: Digital cameras are generally divided into card cameras, telephoto cameras, and DSLR digital cameras. Card digital camera is divided into a card machine with a periscope lens and a card machine with a telescopic lens, the body of the former is more delicate and small and fashionable, but the imaging effect is slightly inferior to the latter, both models are smaller in size, easy to carry, and the general household is completely competent. >>>More
The DSLR camera has more complete functions, while the mirrorless camera has a smaller and smaller pixel frame than the mirrorless camera, and the SLR camera, if you add a large lens or a small lens that is a standard part of the lens, you can complete the shooting of the thighs of flies and the pattern on the moon, but the mirrorless camera does not have this function.
