Translation: Yao gave the world to Xu You, but Xu You did not accept it. He gave it to the Zizhou branch father, and the Zizhou branch father said, "Let me be the Son of Heaven, that's still okay." However, I am suffering from a deep, stubborn disease, and I am planning to treat it seriously, and I have no free time to cure the world. ”
It is the highest position and the heaviest power to rule the world, but it must not interfere with one's own life, let alone other ordinary things. Only those who forget the world and do nothing can entrust him with the heavy responsibility of ruling the world.
Shun asked the world to give Zizhou Zhibo, and Zizhou Zhibo said: "I am suffering from a very deep and stubborn disease, and I am planning to treat it seriously, and I have no extra time to govern the world." It can be seen that the world should be the most precious thing, but it cannot be used to replace life, which is why people with Tao treat the world very differently from the world.
Original text: Yao let the world let Xu You, Xu You did not accept it. He also let Yu Zizhou's father, and Zizhou's father said:
With me as the Son of Heaven, it is still possible. Although, I have a disease of sorrow, and I can cure it, but I have no time to cure the world. "The husband is the most important in the world, and he does not harm his life, and he is not a thing!
Only those who take the world as the only one can support the world.
Shun let the world in Zizhou Zhibo. Zizhou Zhibo said: "If there is a disease of worry, it will be cured, and there will be no time to cure the world." "Therefore, the world is also a great tool, and it is not easy to be born, and the reason why this Taoist person is different from the vulgar is also.

Zihuazi said: "Now let the people of the world write an oath before you: 'If you take it with your left hand, you will cut off your right hand, and if you take it with your right hand, you will cut off your left hand, but you will get the whole world.'" 'Will you go and take it?' ”
The Marquis of Zhao said, "I don't want to take it." ”
Zihuazi said: "Very good, in this way, the two hands are more important than the world, and the body is more important than the two arms." ”
In this dialogue, a rather sharp and profound contradiction is raised, and the reason why one wants to give up wealth and power centered on the "king" is because there is something more important than themselves. The one who raised this comparison to the philosophical level was Yan Qi, the "enlightened person" of the Lu State, who created a good metaphor, "playing a thousand birds with the pearl of Suihou", which means that life is like an incomparably precious "pearl of Suihou", and it is not worth exchanging it for an insignificant "thousand birds".

Original text of Zhuangzi: Those who know what the heavens do and what people do are the best. Those who know what the heavens do are born by heaven; Those who know what people do, with what they know, nourish what they know, and those who do not die in the middle of the road all their lives.
Translation: To know what nature does, and to know what man does, is to reach the extreme point of understanding. To know what nature does is to know that things come from nature; To understand man's deeds is to nourish and nurture with the knowledge that his wisdom knows and to nurture the knowledge that his wisdom cannot understand, until he dies a natural death without dying halfway.
Original text: It is the prosperity of knowledge. Although, there is a problem. The husband knows what to wait for, and then he is not decided. Do you know that my so-called heaven is not human? What is the so-called human nature? And there is real people, and then there is true knowledge.
Translation: This is probably the highest level of understanding, but despite this, there are still worries. People's knowledge must be relied on in order to determine whether it is appropriate or not, and the object of knowledge is unstable.
How do you know that what I speak of is not man-made, and how do you know that what I am talking about is not man-made? Moreover, only with "real people" can there be true knowledge.
Original text: The true people of the ancients are not rebellious, not male, and not incredible. If so, they will repent and not be complacent.
If so, climb high without trembling, enter the water without wetting, and enter the fire without heat. It is the knowledge that can be used to deserve the Tao, and the same is true of those who can do it. The true people of the ancients, they don't sleep, they don't sleep, they don't have to worry, they don't want to eat, and they breathe deeply.
Translation: In ancient times, the "real people" did not rely on the crowd and the widows, did not rely on their own success to dominate others, and did not try to trivialize things. People like this don't regret missing the opportunity, and they don't expect to catch up with the opportunity.
A man like this does not tremble when he ascends to a high place, does not get wet when he goes down into the water, and does not feel the heat when he goes into the fire. Only those who have wisdom and can reach the realm of the Great Dao can be like this. In ancient times, the "real man" did not dream when he slept, he did not feel sad when he woke up, he did not seek sweetness when he ate, and he breathed deeply.
Although a gentleman fights with a position, he must be brave; Although funerals are about etiquette, they must be based on grief; Although being an official is talented, he must be based on virtue. Therefore, if the foundation is not strong, there is no need to pay attention to the prosperity of the branches; If the people around you can't get close, you don't have to pay attention to attracting people from afar; If relatives can't make them attached, they don't have to pay attention to accommodating outsiders; If you do something from beginning to end, you don't have to talk about engaging in multiple careers; If you can't figure out one thing, you don't have to be well-informed. >>>More
