How can we repair the heat-resistant conveyor belt when it is suddenly broken, the heat-resistant conveyor belt may be broken due to tensile force, belt speed and other reasons, and after the heat-resistant conveyor belt is broken, we can use the broken heat-resistant conveyor belt to use the belt buckle for splicing, and if there are conditions, the vulcanized joint can be carried out. The dry summer is also the season when the aging of rubber parts is accelerated, and some rubber parts such as belts and oil pipes are easy to be damaged if they are not properly maintained. Usually these two materials are combined, there will be a chemical reaction, that is to say, the chemical bonding of glue is used to realize the combination of the belt and the repair strip, compared with the ordinary physical bonding, the bonding strength is greater, the fusion between the repair strip and the belt is better, and it is not easy to open the glue.

If the transverse tear or belt breakage, it is recommended to re-treat the belt joint, cold vulcanization method or hot vulcanization method, depending on the on-site construction requirements and belt material for joint analysis and treatment. If the site is in a hurry, you can choose a cold vulcanized joint that is easy to operate.

If the joint time is sufficient, or the tension of the belt joint is relatively large, it is still recommended to choose the hot vulcanized joint for bonding treatment, and choose the more commonly used RIT unvulcanized core glue, surface adhesive and hot vulcanized glue for joint treatment, the joint strength is more advanced, and the lasting force is longer.

From the analysis of a large number of belt breakage accidents, it can be seen that there are probably the following reasons for belt breakage of belt conveyors.

1) The gear reducer is damaged, the fluid coupling is sprayed or the motor is reversed.

2) Conveyor belt joint quality problems. Conveyor belt joints are divided into mechanical joints and vulcanized joints, and the quality of mechanical joints is far inferior to vulcanized joints, so they are rarely used now. As far as vulcanization joints are concerned, if the vulcanization temperature and vulcanization pressure are not controlled as required, the temperature and pressure are unevenly distributed on the vulcanization plate, the holding time of temperature and pressure is set unreasonably, and the use of unreasonable materials will have an impact on the vulcanization process.

3) A sudden increase in the transport load caused by the involvement of other things in transportation. For example, large blocks of gangue or other objects of particularly large mass are suddenly mixed with the coal being transported.

4) The stress changes greatly during starting and stopping. The start and stop of the belt conveyor can also cause the conveyor belt to break, and it is generally best to start the conveyor under no load.

5) The quality of the conveyor belt itself is not up to standard, the service life of the conveyor belt is too long, the conveyor belt is overloaded for a long time, and the daily maintenance is not in place. (6) The material is unevenly distributed, and the conveyor belt is misaligned. The belt conveyor has an empty section and an overload section, which makes the conveyor belt unevenly stressed.

Of course, according to the specific situation of damage, the specific operation method selected is also different.

For example, if the surface is damaged, you can choose to fill the cold vulcanized rubber repair agent for on-site repair, and when operating, you only need to fill the damaged part with the rubber repair agent after mixing and stirring, and then use the scraper to scrape it flat, which is quite simple and fast.

If the belt is cracked, the cold vulcanized glue is generally used to operate with the RIT belt repair strip, in which the cold vulcanized glue is used for the bonding between the belt and the repair strip, and the repair strip is used for the lamination treatment of the cracked part to ensure the smoothness and integrity of the repair part.

Under the cold vulcanization method, because it does not rely on machinery and equipment, the requirements for more glue are naturally much higher. When the construction personnel choose, they should carefully select and compare, and now the cold adhesive glue used in the repair is mainly selected with imported two-component glue, such as SK313 used with a supporting curing agent, etc., the bonding effect and curing speed have considerable advantages, and can be used to compare and choose.

For on-site operation, you need to polish and clean the torn part, apply cold vulcanized glue twice, and when the glue is slightly sticky to the back of your finger, attach the repair strip that has been coated with glue to the damaged surface, and then use a compaction roller to roll it firmly, and discharge excess air, which is not difficult to operate.

Secondly, look at how big the damage is, and the small area of damage can be repaired with repair glue.
