The professional committees established and planned to be established by the CAA are: Cultural and Artwork Auction Professional Committee; Legal Advisory Committee; Theoretical Research Committee.

Approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China, China Auction Industry Association is a national, non-profit social organization voluntarily formed by auction enterprises, institutions, social organizations and individuals engaged in auction or related work across the country, and has the legal personality of a social group.

The China Auction Industry Association is referred to as "China Auction Association", and the English translation is "China association of auctioneers", abbreviated as "CAA". The place of registration is Beijing, China.

The China Auction Industry Association was established on June 22, 1995. So far, a total of 27 batches of members have been developed, and there are 1,691 member units, including 284 governing units. There are 70 executive directors, 18 presidents, vice presidents and secretary-generals.

Auctions were introduced to China in the seventies of the nineteenth century and have gone through ups and downs. After 1985, with the deepening of China's economic system reform, the auction transaction method has been rapidly restored and developed. With the continuous improvement of people's living standards and the change of investment philosophy, as an important part of the modern service industry, China's auction industry will have a broader living space and face greater development opportunities.

The China Auction Industry Association will work harder to improve the quality of staff, enhance the sense of service, establish a scientific decision-making mechanism, unite all members and enterprises in the industry, seize the opportunity, work hard, and make greater contributions to the prosperity and development of China's great motherland.

With the purpose of two-way service for the first department and member units, the CAA plays the functions of bridge, link, coordination and service, acts as a good staff assistant of the first department, safeguards the legitimate rights and interests of the auction industry, enhances the cohesion of the auction industry and the ability of self-protection and self-development, and promotes the improvement of the economic and social benefits of the whole industry. The Association is subject to the business guidance, supervision and management of the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.

China Socks Auction Industry Association is a national, non-profit industry organization voluntarily sued Zao Shencheng by national auction enterprises, public institutions and social organizations and individuals engaged in auction or related work.
