He Jinsheng (1853-1902), a native of Shaodong, Hunan, was born into a small landlord family. He was defeated in his hometown Zidong Academy and Shaoyang, and Xi Academy, and was admitted to Xiucai at the age of 27. Later, he failed the township examination.
In 1882, he went to Changsha and studied at Yueyin Zaolu Academy.

The sealed soil is not big, the stone tablet stands in front of the tomb, 85 centimeters high, 48 centimeters wide, the regular script "He Gong Jinsheng Tomb", the right book "Qing Guangxu Gui Mao Chun Li", there is a small mound on the right side, it is said that the bloody clothes worn when burying He Jinsheng was righteous. Below the tomb, there are two ancestral halls raised by the local people, the front building has been destroyed, the back building is 15 meters wide, into the depth of the meter, three bays, the original He Jinsheng sitting statue on the Ming Shrine Hall, the book "in the quasi-I Gong, the merit is in the person, its life is also straight, its death is also God, the remains are in the hall, the township ritual type, the incorruptible and stubborn cowardly, the hundred generations want to prosper".
He Jinsheng (1853-19) was known as Shangyi, the word Zhonghuai, the name Zhifang, alias Yicheng, a native of Shaoyang, in response to the Boxer Rebellion, held the banner of "Great Han Youmin Annihilation Army" in the local area, and shook several southern provinces. He was killed in the twenty-eighth year of Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1902).

He Jinsheng, male, is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Peking University, and deputy director of the Department of Ecology. Chief Scientist of the 973 Program, winner of the National Outstanding Youth **. His research interests include the ecology of chemical chronology, the carbon cycle of grassland ecosystems, and the alpine ecological slippery system and global change on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
