Historically, where did Zheng He s navigation materials go?

There are many possible reasons for this.

2 more tendencies: the original historical archives of the Ming Dynasty, including the archives of Zheng He, after hundreds of years of dynastic changes, after the late Ming Dynasty Li Chuang Wang entered Beijing, and the Later Jin people entered the customs to establish the Qing Dynasty, which will inevitably cause a lot of losses. After the Qing soldiers invaded and occupied Beijing, the Ming Dynasty's jurisdiction was not completely occupied by the Qing soldiers, and the remnants of the forces still established the Southern Ming ** in the south.

I estimate that most of Zheng He's nautical archives will be stored in Nanjing, and it will not be because the capital was moved to Beijing, and even Zheng He's materials will be moved to Beijing, because the Ming Dynasty has always been a two-Beijing system.

In addition, the invasion and occupation of Beijing by the eight-nation alliance of the late Qing powers, the panic and westward flight of the Qing court, the Xinhai Revolution and the subsequent warlord melee, the Northern Expedition, the Japanese occupation of Beiping, and the civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party after the takeover of the Kuomintang, as well as the different likes and dislikes and taboos of different rulers deliberately destroyed the archives. There are also very few cases of floods, fires, wind damage, rain erosion, insect damage, theft**, loss and drowning during transportation, etc., even if it is managed but not managed well. It is not surprising that most of Zheng He's nautical materials do not exist.

Later, I was afraid that the eunuchs would be dominant, so the information was placed in the military department of the Ming Dynasty, and later it was gone, and it became a mystery.

More than 600 years ago, when the whole of Europe was still sleeping in the Middle Ages, the Ming Dynasty of China, from the third year of Yongle to the sixth year of Xuande (1405-1433), Zheng He led a huge ocean-going fleet, seven times before and after, sailed to the Western Ocean, as far as Africa, leaving a glorious page in China's foreign cultural exchanges and the history of world navigation, and was a well-deserved maritime hegemon.

However, it is regrettable that since then, the Chinese's ocean-going navigation has come to an incredible abrupt halt just like the law that the feudal dynasty must flourish and decline, and what is even more terrifying is that Chinese society has become increasingly closed and conservative, losing the first historical opportunity to stir up with world culture.

In fact, it did not end abruptly, and there was a debate about the necessity of Zheng He's trip to the West from the beginning. It's just that with Zhu Di's strong support, Zheng He was selected and executed seven times. The main reason for the cessation of Zheng He's voyage to the West was that Confucianism had become the dominant ideology.

Di's death represents the death of China's last feudal emperor with a world heart. Before Zheng He's death, he was already considered by the imperial court to be the representative of the eunuch rebellion, and he spent too much money on going to the West several times, and thousands of people died of illness. In fact, it doesn't matter whether Zheng He died of illness or not, the key is that times have changed.

Zheng He was excluded from the eunuch system, and at the same time, Zheng He's long-term absence from Zhu Di became more and more distant, which caused Zheng He to stay away from the center of power and his power base: the eunuch group. For example, when Zhu Di was in power, the internal officials and eunuchs were the first eunuchs, and Zheng He was outside for a long time, and the growth of the internal power of other yamen and internal officials and eunuchs was beyond his control.

Therefore, the status of celebrants and supervisors has risen, and the power of internal officials and supervisors has declined.

On the contrary, the opening up of Europe had a powerful impetus – a desire and opportunity for profit, and the interests of merchants and their overseas ventures were supported by the royal family. There was a trading relationship between the two: the royal family gave the adventurers commissions, authorizations and even certain financial support, and they had to transport all the plundered gold and silver to the official office for stamping, registering their ownership, and paying taxes at a rate of one-fifth.

In the middle and late Ming Dynasty, the court will be in vain, and Jiajing Wanli will not delay governance if he does not go to court.
