Buddhist scriptures, also known as sutras, are scriptures that provide opportunities for sentient beings to practice. That is to say, in the Buddhist scriptures, which one has the most opportunity for sentient beings, that scripture is the most important. For example, for practitioners who like to recite Buddha, then the Pure Land scriptures are the most important scriptures; For those who like to practice meditation, the Zen classics are the most important classics.
The Buddha said that there is no such thing as the most important scriptures in Buddhism.

"The Theory of Great Wisdom" clouds: "If you can cultivate patience and humiliation, compassion is easy to obtain; Those who receive mercy will reach the Buddha's path. ”
If you want to be a place of refuge for all sentient beingsMake life fearless and endure humiliation firstThose who can endure humiliation rejoice in those who see itResentment and poison are all born relatives and friendsEverything such as to achieve equanimityAll sentient beings return to their own enduresThat's why the Buddhas want to be supremeRely on things, be firm and endure humiliationIf a bodhisattva wants to live in all BuddhasWhen contemplating the emptiness of the Dharma, sentient beings cannot attain itIf you practice forbearance, you can have the merits of the BuddhaThat's why bodhisattvas should always practice forbearance and humiliationIf a bodhisattva practices patience, he should stay away from both sidesI don't see anyone who can gain or lose from himselfIf you come to great compassion, you will be amazedThat's why bodhisattvas should always practice forbearance and humiliationIf you want to get all your wisdom, you will destroy all the troublesDo not be cowardly, practice forbearance, and always have no distinctionIf you look at the Dharma, you become a patience paramitaThat's why bodhisattvas should always practice forbearance and humiliationThe Bodhisattva wants to be solemn and have a good bodyResurrection of the Brahman world from the path of demonsHappiness and forbearance, everything is accomplishedTherefore, all bodhisattvas should be firm and endure humiliationThe most forbearance and humiliation, the one who has done no wrongAll the merits dwell in forbearanceThe four magic power is invincible, and the forbearance can be eliminatedThat's why bodhisattvas should always practice forbearance and humiliation
-
First, forbearance. Whenever the humiliation comes, there is no way to avoid it, no way to resist, so I have to be strong and endure it. But I feel troubled, unbearable, and painful.
Second, forbearance. For the arrival of humiliation, don't worry about it, use the greatest strength, take a step back, let three points, and press it down. The ancients:
If you can't bear it, you will make a big plan. "Reciting the name of the Buddha wholeheartedly, using the power of the Buddha's name, relieving and settling the resentment is like pressing grass with a stone. The best Buddha name is constantly in daily life, because if the Buddha name is broken, it is easy to get angry.
Third, forbearance. When the humiliation appears, return to the light with wisdom and cultivate the concept of karma. Thinking back to why you were humiliated, beaten, and scolded for no reason, there must be a cause to give birth to today's results.
If you are insulted for no reason, most of them are the result of karma in your previous life, and you will be rewarded with karma in this life. If you can think about retribution and repay debts, you will naturally accept the unbearable humiliation in your heart, and you will be willing not to have hatred.
Fourth, contemplation and forbearance. When the humiliation occurs, I use the wisdom of emptiness to take care of the world of knowledge and body, and all the dharmas are originally unattainable, since I am nothing, what other realm is there that I am insulted and humiliated? Since the two are completely empty, the humiliation in the middle is of course unattainable.
In this way, when we look at the void, all evil hatred occurs nowhere.
Fifth, forbearance. Whenever the Bodhisattva comes to humiliation, not only does he not feel hatred, but he has great compassion and sorrows: "This person is really stupid and pitiful, unreasonable, and vain.
Now I am insulted, and I can bear to repay my grievances with virtue. If you treat others arbitrarily and insult them, you will be rewarded and sow the evil cause of being slandered. In more serious cases, people may even be killed and disabled, punished by law, and suffer karma in the future.
Therefore, the Bodhisattva rises up without cause for great compassion, universal compassion, and convenient education, so that he will come to his senses, know that he must change, cut off evil and cultivate good, and become a new person.

Without practice, just understanding the truth, you can't endure humiliation, either you break out, or you suffocate yourself into internal injuries. If you reach cultivation, you can really not be angry, at that time, you won't feel humiliated, and when you have no humiliation, you can really endure humiliation. When you feel insulted, in fact, you are angry, you don't endure the humiliation.
Therefore, among the six perfections, generosity is the first, and taking vows is the second. The third is forbearance. If you don't practice the first two types, you can't bear it if you directly cultivate forbearance and humiliation.

In meditation, our mind and body are completely relaxed, and our mind tends to focus on a thought or feeling in the moment, allowing the scattered, wild horse-like mind to take back. When we have delusions and delusions, once we support a righteous thought in meditation, such as "who is chanting the Buddha" and "how is the patriarch from the West", we can turn the delusion into the current thought, gradually extinguish the delusion in our heart, and thus gain inner purity and stability. >>>More
