How to set up an Android development environment on a Mac

Maybe many people's tutorials have said that they need SDK+Eclipse, as well as Eclipse plug-ins.

Continue to follow the official documentation, it is recommended to unzip it in the development directory under the home directory, I don't have a development directory, but as a rookie, I still decided to go exactly according to the official meaning, so I created a new development, and then moved the eclipse and SDK that I just automatically decompressed (how to operate?). I was using the terminal mkdir development and then the mv came in)

Go to the eclipse directory and launch it! Exciting times!

Use a VPN to go to Google's official website**as and then install it, it's basically the next step, it's very simple, remember to use a VPN or a ladder, this is a must-have for Android developers!!

We often use Mac to create iOS app projects, but how to create Android app projects on Mac? Let me share it with you.

First of all, we need to install the Android Studio software in the Mac system, and then click on the Start a New Android Studio Project option, as shown in the figure below.

Next, you need to give the project a name to the project name setting page, as shown in the figure below.

Then we need to choose which SDK to use for the Android application we create, as shown in the figure below, I recommend choosing a more stable version.

Next, you will enter the main interface style selection interface, and I can select the empty template style, as shown in the figure below.

Then give the name of the main interface file, here the default is mainactivity, we don't need to set it, the default can be, as shown in the figure below.

After setting the above information, we can see that Android Studio will enter the project creation progress, as shown in the figure below.

Next, after creating the project, the default main interface will display the project list, as shown in the following figure.

If you want to run the project, we can click the Run button at the top, as shown in the figure below.

Finally, Android Studio will launch the Android phone emulator to display the information of our project, as shown in the image below.
