Translation] The first mountain system in the Nanshan Sutra is called Magpie Mountain. The first mountain of Magpie Mountain is called Zhaoyao Mountain, which is bordered by the upper part of the West Sea. Most of the trees that grow on the mountain are laurel trees, and they contain a large amount of gold and jade.
There is a kind of grass that grows in the mountains, shaped like a leek, with small green flowers. This grass is called Zhuyu, and people who eat this grass will not feel hungry. There is a tree growing on the mountain, which is shaped like a tree, the grain of the wood is black, and the flowers and leaves that bloom are shining.
This kind of forest is called the misty. If you wear this kind of flower and leaf on your body, you will not get lost. There is also a beast on the mountain that looks a lot like a macaque but has a pair of white ears.
Sometimes it crawls, sometimes it stands and walks like a man, and this beast is called a raccoon, and if a man eats this beast, he becomes very walking. A stream of Yeosu at the foot of the mountain flows westward into the sea. Yeosu is rich in a species called Yupei, which can prevent diseases caused by parasites if worn on the body.

If it is accurately classified, it should belong to linguistics. If you think of it as pedagogy, it means that it is from the perspective of a teacher teaching foreign language translation; If you think of it as literature, it's because many translations contain literary elements, but don't forget, what if you're translating scientific and technical literature? Should it be classified as a science and technology discipline again?
In Western countries, general (basic) translation majors are basically classified as languages. However, it is not excluded that there may be translation majors in literature majors, which are specifically for literature and do not involve other types of translation. FYI.
