2014 Outstanding College Student Summer Camp of Southeast University:

In order to promote the exchange between outstanding college students in colleges and universities across the country and enhance their understanding of the relevant departments and disciplines of Southeast University, some colleges of our university will hold the 2014 summer camp for outstanding college students in mid to late July, including:

003 School of Energy and Environment, 004 School of Information Science and Engineering, School of Electronic Science and Engineering, 011 School of Biological Science and Medical Engineering, 016 School of Electrical Engineering, 022 School of Instrument Science and Engineering, School of Law, 040 Institute of Life Sciences, 044 School of Medicine.

Summer camp activity time: July 18-21, 2014 (if there is a change due to special circumstances, subject to the final notice), during which each college will hold professional introduction, academic lectures, seminars, laboratory visits and other activities, and arrange the assessment and selection of outstanding campers.

Our school will provide the selected campers with room and board in Nanjing during the summer camp (Note: in principle, accommodation will not be arranged for students whose school or home is located in Nanjing), as well as subsidize the transportation expenses of students from other colleges and universities to Nanjing (refer to the standard of hard seat tickets for trains from the school location to Nanjing).

1. Application requirements.

1.Undergraduate students (graduated in July 2015) from key universities (including Southeast University) or key disciplines across the country, with good moral character, law-abiding, honest and trustworthy, and physical and mental health;

2.Meet the requirements of the school to recommend exempt students and intend to apply for the recommendation of our university for exempt master's or doctoral students;

3.Excellent academic performance in school, good English proficiency, strong interest in the major to be applied for, and interested in scientific research.

There are summer camps. The summer camp is a new project, and generally the mathematics of the high school students will be more difficult in the exam, which will involve more basic advanced mathematics, physics, and high school knowledge, as long as the high school is good, it should be no problem.

Before the end of the summer camp, the selection of outstanding campers will be conducted. Selection method: Mathematics subject is written test, physics subject is written test plus experiment, and chemistry subject is written test plus experiment.

The comprehensive score is ranked according to the comprehensive score, and the mathematics written test score accounts for 40%, the physics written test score plus the experimental score accounts for 40%, and the chemistry written test score plus the experimental score accounts for 20%. The summer camp has a first prize, a second prize, and a single award. The top 5% of the total score will be awarded the first prize; Top 25% overall with top scores in Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry.

The first and second prizes will be recognized by the expert group for their outstanding ability in a single subject, and no more than 6 individual awards will be awarded; The top 15% of the total score will be awarded the second prize.
