What kind of cutouts do you want?!
-
Yesterday I took a labor class, I learned about paper-cutting, and when I got home, I checked it:
Paper-cutting, also known as paper-cutting, is one of the oldest folk arts in China, dating back to the 6th century AD. window grilles or cut-outs, area.
Don't use scissors when creating, some use scissors, some use carving knives, although the tools are different, but the art created by the letter is basically the same, people collectively called.
Decoupage. Paper-cutting is a kind of hollow art, which visually gives people a sense of emptiness and artistic enjoyment. Its carrier can be paper, gold and silver leaf, bark, leaves, cloth, leather, leather and other sheet materials.
Folk paper-cutting is good at combining a variety of objects and images together, and produces the ideal beautiful results. No matter if one or more images are combined, they are all modeled "with image meaning" and "image conformation", rather than according to objective natural shapes.
At the same time, this round is good at using the technique of comparison to create a variety of mascots, and combine the conventional images to express their hearts.
Reason. The pursuit of auspicious metaphors has become one of the ultimate goals of imagery ......
After reading it, I couldn't help but sigh with emotion: I didn't expect that the seemingly simple paper-cutting has so many implications.

Paper-cutting is one of the most popular folk arts in China, dating back to the sixth century according to archaeology, but it is thought to have actually started hundreds of years before that. Paper-cutting is often used in religious ceremonies, decorative and plastic arts, among other things.
In the past, it was common for people to make images and figures of various shapes out of paper and bury them with the deceased or burn them at funerals, a custom that can still be seen outside of China. The art of decoupage in general has a symbolic meaning and is also part of this ritual. In addition, paper-cutting was also used as an ornament for offerings used to worship ancestors and gods.
It is generally popular because of its easy availability of materials, low cost, immediate effect and wide adaptability; It is also suitable for rural women's leisure production, which can be used as practical objects and beautify life. Paper-cutting can be seen all over the country, and even different local styles and genres have been formed. Paper-cutting not only shows the aesthetic preferences of the masses, but also contains the deep social psychology of the nation, and is also one of the most distinctive folk arts in China, and its modeling characteristics are particularly worthy of study.
Now, decoupage is used more for decoration. Paper-cutting can be used to decorate walls, doors, windows, pillars, mirrors, lamps and lanterns, as well as as for gifts, and even as a gift for others. In the past, it was also common to use paper-cutting as a model for embroidery and spray painting art.
Paper-cutting is not made by machine but by hand, and there are two commonly used methods: scissor scissors and knife scissors. As the name suggests, scissors scissors are cut with the help of scissors, and then a few (generally no more than 8 sheets) of paper-cut pasted after cutting, and finally the pattern is processed with sharp scissors.
Knife scissors are made by folding the paper into several stacks, placing it on a fluffy mixture of ash and animal fat, and then slowly carving it with a knife. Paper-cutting artists generally hold the knife vertically and process the paper into the desired pattern according to a certain model. One advantage of knives and scissors over scissors is that they can be processed into multiple cut-out patterns at once.
In rural areas, paper-cutting is usually done by women and girls. In the past, this was a handicraft that every girl had to master, and it was also a standard for judging brides. Professional paper-cutting artists are often men, because only men can work together and earn money in the workshop.

Whenever I see a paper-cut artist waving scissors on a piece of paper to create a lifelike work, I can't help but be amazed. However, the paper-cutting technique that artists are so good at is a complicated and technically difficult thing for me.
Today, we're going to finish a cut-out piece. The teacher said, I was stunned for a moment, the difficult paper-cutting, to be completed in a short class, isn't it more difficult than climbing to the sky?
However, my idea was very wrong, and after the teacher's explanation and demonstration of paper-cutting, I suddenly realized that it was easy to complete a paper-cutting. Most of the cutouts are axisymmetrical, and they only need to be "flying" a quarter or even an eighth of a pattern with scissors to show it neatly in front of our eyes.
Just talk about it, don't practice fake tricks. "I can't just talk about it. I was impatient to start "acting".
I sketched half a butterfly on paper and then carefully "lived" it with scissors. But the butterfly was still lifeless, without the slightest bit of vitality.
I decided to embellish it on its wings. I cut a pattern around the edge of the butterfly's wings. Unexpectedly, when I was cutting, I accidentally cut the edges, leaving a dazzling "scar", so I used a little tape to help it "heal".
Still, the "scar" is clearly visible. I "put on makeup" for the butterflies more carefully.
Soon, "dressed up" and energetic butterflies "appeared" in front of my eyes. See! The beautiful and delicate lace seems to dress the butterfly in a new dress. The pearl-like dots seem to put on beautiful jewelry for butterflies and dance in the air.
Through this paper-cutting experience, I learned that you have to try everything, and what you think is difficult may become very simple as long as you try and master the skills.

Decoupage. Our traditional Chinese culture is broad and profound, and has a long history. Today, I'm going to introduce you to paper-cutting!
The content of the paper-cut contains a strong breath of life. Fish, insects, birds and beasts, flowers and trees, pavilions and bridges, these natural scenery that people are familiar with and love, have become people's paper-cutting patterns. Every time the New Year is celebrated or a happy event is coming, people have to cut some "Fu" words, "Xi" words and other old expressions to celebrate.
The images portrayed by the paper-cutting are vivid and lifelike. Let's take a look at this "Fairy Descending to Earth" first! The four goddesses danced in different forms, their arms wrapped around light and silky ribbons, gently swaying in the wind.
Look again at this "Squirrel Picking Grapes". I saw that it was wagging its big fluffy tail, and its small eyes were staring at the purple grapes, for fear that it would be snatched away by other small animals.
There are also interesting folk tales in the paper cuts! This paper-cut tells the story of "the rat marrying a wife". Look at!
The little mice carried the big sedan chair, the groom was triumphant, and the big cat was envious on the side. It turns out that the story goes like this: Daddy Rat wants to find a good son-in-law for his daughter.
Mother rat says the sun is the best, the sun says the clouds are the best, the clouds say the wind is the best, the wind says the wall is the best, and the wall says the rat is the best. Best, the little mouse got the bride.
What a beautiful cut-out! It's so lovely!
