What are the Four Emperors? What are the four royal palaces?

The Four Emperors are to assist the Taoist Supreme Sanqing Daozun, the Yuan Shi Tianzun, the Daode Tianzun, and the Lingbao Tianzun to manage the world.

The supreme supreme supreme of Haotian Jinque, who rules over all the heavens, naturally has the Jade Emperor of the Jade Emperor, the Emperor of Gouchen Shanggong who rules over ten thousand thunders, the Zhongtian Ziwei Arctic Emperor who rules over ten thousand stars, the Emperor Qinghua of the East Pole (also known as Taiyi Salvation Heavenly Venerable) who rules over all kinds of things, the Antarctic Immortal Emperor who rules all souls, and the Emperor of Chengtian who follows the Houtu Emperor who rules all the earths.

The Four Emperors are the four Heavenly Emperors who dominate all things in heaven and earth after the Three Qing Gods. That is, the Jade Emperor, the Zhongtian Ziwei Arctic Emperor, the Gouchen Shanggong Emperor and the Houtu Emperor. The most worshipped of the four emperors is the Jade Emperor, also known as the Jade Emperor of the Xuanqiong Gao, the Supreme Jade Emperor of Haotian Jinque, the full name of Haotian Jinque Supreme Supreme Natural Miao Mi Luo to the true Jade Emperor God, the great god of Taoism, ranking the first of the four emperors after the Three Qings.

The Four Imperial is second only toSanqing respects the godsThe four heavenly emperors who dominate all things in heaven and earth. That is, the Jade Emperor, the Zhongtian Ziwei Arctic Emperor, the Gouchen Shanggong Emperor and the Houtu Emperor.

The Four Emperors refer to the four gods who assist the "Jade Emperor" in the Taoist Heavenly Realm, so they are also called the "Four Auxiliaries". They are: the Arctic Ziwei Emperor, the Antarctic Immortal Emperor, the Gouchen Shanggong Emperor, and the Chengtian Emperor Houtu.

In some Taoist palace views, in addition to the Sanqing Palace, the Jade Emperor Pavilion, the main hall also has the four palaces dedicated to the four emperors, the statues of the four royal gods wear crowns, wear court clothes, graceful and luxurious, and are the image of the emperors in the world. The Three Qing and the Four Emperors, as Taoist gods, are often collectively called.

The order of this in Liu Yongguang's "Supreme Yellow Urn Lent Establishment Ceremony" in the Southern Song Dynasty is: Yuqing God, Shangqing God, Taiqing God, Haotian Supreme Jade Emperor, Gouchen Shanggong Emperor, Zhongtian Ziwei Arctic Emperor, East Pole Taiyi Salvation Tianzun (i.e., Qinghua Emperor), Antarctic Immortal Emperor, and Houtu Emperor Diqi. The first three statues are the three Qings, and the last six statues constitute the upper (Jade Emperor), lower (back soil), and the four sides of the "Liuhe" layout.

Taoism calls it "Haotian Six Imperial Chenzun", plus the three Qings, together as the "Nine Emperors Imperial Number". Later, in order to conform to the classification of the four auxiliaries of the Taoist Classics (Taiqing, Taiping, Taixuan, and Zhengyi), the "Jade Emperor" and "Qinghua Emperor" were removed, and they became today's "Four Emperors". Namely:

Zhongtian Ziwei Arctic Emperor, Antarctic Immortal Emperor, Gouchen Shanggong Emperor, Houtu Emperor Diyi. The emblems of the four emperors were added by Song Zhenzong and Huizong. The Four Emperors are the four gods who live below the Three Qings, above all gods, and dominate all things in heaven and earth.

The Tao Dharma Hui Yuan called the "Three Qings" and "Four Emperors" as the "Seven Treasures", and commanded the gods of heaven and earth.
