At the 6th China Satellite Navigation Academic Annual Conference held in Xi'an, Ran Chengqi, director of the China Satellite Navigation System Management Office, said that with the continuous advancement of the construction of the Beidou global system, the Beidou industry is showing a rapid development situation, and the next step will be to focus on promoting the typical application of the industry into the mass application market.

As an important national spatial information infrastructure, the Beidou Navigation Satellite System has formed a relatively complete industrial system including basic products, application terminals, and operation services, and is widely used in transportation, marine fisheries, hydrological monitoring, meteorological forecasting, geodesy, disaster relief and mitigation and other fields, and has produced significant social and economic benefits. Ran Chengqi said that Beidou application has completed the initial market cultivation, from the typical application of the industry to the mass application market, and the industry has shown a rapid development situation.

The 7th China Satellite Navigation Annual Conference (CSNC2016) is scheduled to be held in Changsha, Hunan Province on May 18-20, 2016. A few days ago, the Organizing Committee of the Annual Meeting has officially launched the collection of the 7th Annual Meeting. The organizing committee will give the winners of the annual meeting with bonuses and honorary awards, as an encouragement for the academic contributions of the winners to the annual meeting and financial support for the participation expenses.

The exhibition area of the first annual meeting is divided into four modules: "Beidou System Construction History and Achievement Exhibition", "Satellite Navigation Technology and Achievement Exhibition", "Satellite Navigation Technology Application and Product Exhibition" and "Annual Conference Post Report Exhibition". There are 40 exhibition boards for the construction process and achievements of the Beidou system, 36 exhibitors, 132 exhibitors, and 52 booths.

The exhibition area of the third annual meeting has reached more than 10,000 square meters, and the Beidou Industry Application Exhibition, the Beidou Vehicle Application Industry Alliance Enterprise Exhibition and the Discipline Talent Construction Exhibition have been added.

The number of exhibitors has increased to 96, and it has evolved from mainly exhibition panels to physical exhibitions. About 3,500 people attended the conference during the three days. There are more than 140 exhibitors at the 4th Annual Conference and the 5th Annual Meeting, and the exhibits are richer in content, more colorful in exhibition form, and more connotative in the exhibition.

The exhibition area of the 6th China Satellite Navigation Technology and Application Achievements Exhibition reached 12,000 square meters. The admission process is simplified, it is open to the general public free of charge, and the number of visitors is large during the exhibition, with nearly 10,000 visitors in three days.

Figuratively speaking, the Beidou application results were first hung on the wall, later placed on the table, and then loaded on the car, and now carried in the hand, on the basis of inheriting the basic procedures and paradigms of the previous six annual meetings, the seventh annual meeting will be more orderly.
