The Champions League comes from all the FA leagues under UEFA.
The UEFA Champions League is an annual football competition organized by the European Federation of Football Associations, representing the highest level and honor of European club football, and is recognized as the most influential and highest-level club competition in the world, as well as one of the most expensive football and sporting events in the world.
The UEFA Champions Club Cup, changed to its current name in 1992. Although the Champions League has undergone several changes to the format, the records since the inception of the competition have never been counted separately, and the trophy still retains its old name, "European Club Champions Cup". Twenty-two clubs have won the Champions League, with Real Madrid having won the most titles, followed by AC Milan with seven titles, Bayern Munich and Liverpool with six titles, Barcelona with five titles and Ajax with four titles.
Introduction to the format
The UEFA Champions League is divided into three parts, namely the qualifying stage, the play-off stage and the main stage. The qualifying stage consists of the preliminary round, the first round of qualification, the second round of qualification, and the third round of qualification. Both the Champions League qualifying rounds and the Champions League play-offs are played over two legs, home and away, with the second-round qualifying, third-round qualifying and play-offs divided into 'Road to the Champions' and 'Road to the League'.
A total of 32 teams participated in the group stage, divided into 8 groups of 4 teams each, with the top two teams in the group advancing to the knockout stage and the third place in the group stage participating in the Europa League knockout play-offs. The 1 8 finals, 1 4 finals and semi-finals are played over two legs at home and away, and the finals are played at a neutral venue, with no third or fourth place matches. A draw at the end of 90 minutes of regular time will result in 30 minutes of extra time, and a penalty shoot-out will be awarded without a winner in extra time.

The rules for the Champions League group stage are as follows:
1. The number of teams that will directly enter the group stage is 32 teams (31 teams + defending champions), and the three football associations with the highest UEFA points will each have three teams directly enter the group stage. Football associations ranked 4th to 6th each have two teams directly entered. Football associations ranked 7th to 12th each have one team directly entered.
Together with the 10 teams in the play-offs, a total of 32 teams will compete in the group stage of the Champions League.
The teams are divided into eight groups of four teams each for a points match. The two best finishers will advance to the knockout stage, with the third-placed teams from the eight groups progressing to the round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League, with the four best teams seeded alongside the winners of each group in the UEFA Cup.
3. The lottery form is divided into 8 groups, each group has four teams (the same team will not be grouped in the same group). The match is played in a double round-robin format, with the winner getting three points, the draw getting one point, and the losing side getting zero points, and the group is topped.
The first and second place winners can advance to the quarterfinals. The third place will move to the UEFA Europa League.
4. If there are two or more teams in the group with the same score, the winner will be determined in order according to the following criteria:
1) The side with the better results in the match-to-head match;
2) the side with the better goal difference in the match-to-head match;
3) the side that scores more away goals in the match-to-head match of the team concerned;
4) the side with the better overall goal difference in the group;
5) The team with the better total goals in the group.
