There are two types of IP address setting rules: network address rules and host address rules.

1. Network address rules.

The address must be unique. The network ID cannot start with the number 127. In a Class A address, the number 127 is reserved for an internal loopback function (for loop testing).

The first byte of the network ID cannot be 255. The number 255 serves as the broadcast address. The first byte of the network identifier cannot be "0", and "cavity year 0" indicates that the address is localhost and cannot be transmitted.

2. Host address rules.

Host identities must be unique within the same network. If all digits are "1", the address of the host is the broadcast address, not the address of the host. If all bits are "0", it means "only this network", and there are no hosts on this network.
