1. Product model and symbol meaning.

GW10-12(W) outdoor single-pole disconnector (hereinafter referred to as the switch) is suitable for 10 thousand volt high-voltage transmission and distribution lines to cut off and close single-phase or three-phase circuits with no load and voltage. The switch is used for single-phase use of three-phase line system, and its structure is simple, economical and easy to use. The rated current of the switch is:

200；400；600 and 1000 amps. They are all composed of a base, a post insulator, a conductive part and a mechanism part. The gate knife structure is used to open and close the gate to achieve cutting and closing the line.

Each phase blade is composed of two conductive blades, and both sides of the blade are equipped with compression springs, and the height of the springs is adjusted to obtain the contact pressure required by the switch blade. When the switch is opened and closed, the mechanism part can be operated with an insulating hook rod, and the movement can be carried out. The gate knife has a self-locking device.

The installation site should be free of frequent and violent vibrations.

4. Work before installation.

Remove dust and dirt from the other part, carefully wipe the surface of the insulated porcelain bottle, and scrub the wiring surface of the grounding screw.

Apply a layer of industrial petroleum jelly to the rotating parts and contact areas.

Check the contact surface and adjust the height of the compression spring so that the contact pressure is in line with Table 2.

When the rated current of this switch is 200-400 amps, only three mounting holes are generally used. 600-1000A using three mounting holes.

Regularly inspect the following parts of the switch every year.

Remove dirt and dirt, especially the conductive parts, contact surfaces and insulated porcelain bottle surfaces.

Check whether there is any damage to each other parts, and pay special attention to check whether the insulated porcelain bottle is lost or cracked.

Check whether the contact surface of the conductive part is good.

8. After unpacking, check whether the product and the accompanying product certificate, installation and operation instructions are complete.

9. Check whether the other parts of the switch are damaged and the insulating porcelain bottle is broken.

10. If the switch is not used immediately, it should be checked regularly, and a layer of industrial petroleum jelly should be applied to the contact surface and rotating part.
