It is with a kind of reluctance and nostalgia for a confidant. "There is no reason for the west out of Yangguan" is the best proof.
-
It expresses the author's reluctance to give up and cherish other thoughts and feelings.
-
There is not only the friendship of relying on others, but also the deep affection and consideration for the situation and mood of the travelers, and the cherished and sincere wishes for the road ahead. For the send-off, persuading the other party to "have a glass of wine" is not only to let the friend take away a little more of his friendship, but also intentionally or unintentionally delay the breakup time, so that the other party can stay for another moment. The feeling of "no one in the west out of Yangguan", how can it only belong to the walker?
There are a lot of things to say, but there are so many things that I don't know where to start for a while. On this occasion, there is often a wordless relative silence, and "persuading the gentleman to have a glass of wine" is a way to unconsciously break this silence, and it is also a way to express the rich and complex feelings at the moment. What the poet has not said is much richer than what has been said.
In short, although the three or four sentences cut are only a momentary scene, they are extremely rich in a moment.

Send Yuan Er envoy Anxi.
Wang Wei. Weicheng is light and dusty towards the rain, and the guest house is green and willow-colored.
Persuade you to have a glass of wine, and there is no reason to go out of Yangguan in the west.
Wang Wei, Volume 1 "Bamboo Pavilion" has been introduced. The poem was written before the Anshi Rebellion, or more precisely before his mother's death in the ninth year of Tianbao (750). At that time, he successively held the positions of Zuo Buque, Shiyu Shi, Wailang, and Kubu Lang in Beijing, and wrote a lot of farewell poems.
Sending Yuan Er Envoy Anxi", Guo Maoqian's "Yuefu Poetry Collection" Volume 80 "Modern Lyrics II" is included, titled "Weicheng Song", and the solution says: ""Weicheng" is a "Yangguan", which is also written by Wang Weizhi. The poem "Sending People to Anxi" was later sung.
This song, also known as "Yangguan Three Stacks", is the most popular farewell song. "Yuan Er", surnamed Yuan, ranked second, and his life is unknown. "Anxi", Tang Anxi Protectorate, the seat of governance is in Qiuci (now Kuqa, Xinjiang).
The first two sentences write the scene. The first sentence writes that the rain in the morning in Weicheng wet the light dust, and the air is very fresh. "Weicheng", the original Qin capital Xianyang, was renamed Weicheng when Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, and the site is twenty miles northeast of Xianyang, Shaanxi.
Wang Wei sent Yuan Er from Chang'an to Weicheng, which shows that the friendship between the two is endless. In the second sentence, the willow branches around the banquet house generally grow tender shoots, turning from withered yellow to tender green, and are showing a new look in front of people's eyes. The poet specifically mentioned the "green willow color" because "willow" and "stay" are homophonic, and the ancients had the custom of folding willows to send them away.
This also implies that the guests were sent to Weicheng, and the two had to be separated.
The last two sentences are written goodbye. According to the feelings of parting, it is expressed through the voice of Yin Yin's persuasion of drinking, in which the word "more" is used well, just as Shen Zudi's "Seven Exquisite Poems of the Tang Dynasty Explained" said: "With the word 'more', the previous diligent persuasion of drinking, the reluctance to remember at this moment, and the concern and nostalgia after that are all reflected."
So, the capacity of this one word is huge. Why is it so attentive, memorable, and concerned? Because as soon as Yuan Er came out of Yangguan, there was no more bosom friend like himself, not to mention that he was going farther and farther to Anxi?
From now on, if you have no relatives, let's have an extra drink in front of the deceased. Only these 14 words express the sincere friendship between friends. Conciseness is what makes this poem so successful.
The reason why this poem has aroused wide resonance is because it writes about the emotions that people generally have when they say goodbye, just as Zhao Yi of the Qing Dynasty said in the "Oubei Poems" volume 11 "Excerpts": "Everyone has everything in their minds, but they have not justified the silver and humanity, once it is said, so that everyone can do what they want, and it is easy to circulate, so it is enough to spread the name of the time and later generations." ......Wang Majie's 'persuasion of the gentleman to have a glass of wine, and there is no one in Yangguan in the west', is still popular so far, and it is the same as the first place to win the hearts of the people. ”
