The cultivation of scientific and technological archaeological talents is first faced with the dilemma of resource allocation deviation. Archaeology is based on history, and it is understandable that it is located in the humanities. However, as an emerging interdisciplinary discipline, scientific and technological archaeology often has teachers, instruments, laboratories and other resources from science departments, which hinders the teaching process, and student training to a certain extent.

The more important reason is that at present, the discipline of scientific and technological archaeology has not yet been clarified, and the major of scientific and technological archaeology is often affiliated to the first-level disciplines such as the history of science and technology, history, etc., and the degrees awarded are also relatively chaotic, including science degrees, engineering degrees, etc.
