Zhou Changgu (1929-1986), who loved painting since childhood, was admitted to the Hangzhou National Art College in 1948.
Now China Academy of Art) studied plain pinching, oil painting, and Chinese painting, and stayed in the school to teach after graduation, specializing in Chinese painting. He once went to Dunhuang to copy the murals. His creations are influenced by the literati paintings of Xu Wei, Zhu Qi, Shi Tao, Wu Changshuo, Pan Tianshou, etc., and combined with Western law, forming a fresh and lush artistic style.
He is good at writing characters, mostly taking the life of ethnic minorities as the topic, skillful penmanship, good at using color and water, paying attention to the expression of nature, vivid character images, and lofty artistic conception. Flowers are written in between, bright and colorful. In 1955, his work "Two Lambs" won the gold medal of the 5th World Youth Festival, and his works have been selected for many national and provincial art exhibitions, or selected for foreign exhibitions, or collected by art galleries and museums.
He has held many solo exhibitions in Hangzhou and other places. Before his death, he was a director of the Chinese Artists Association, vice chairman of the Zhejiang Artists Association, and a professor of the China Academy of Art.

Zhou Guping, female, born in 1957, from Yinxian County, Zhejiang, is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Zhejiang University. He graduated from the Department of Education of Hangzhou University in 1982 and has been teaching at the university ever since. In 1990, he received his Ph.D. in the History of Education.
From October 1991 to October 1992, he was a visiting student in Australia for one year, and from January to June 2000, he was a half-year visiting student in the United Kingdom. He is currently the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Zhejiang University, the Vice President of the Academy of Social Sciences, and the Executive Vice President of the Institute of Western China Development of Zhejiang University.
