How to promote the blooming of bromeliads and how to maintain them after bromeliads bloom

In summer, it is advisable to place the seedling pot in the shade, and indoor cultivation can also be shaded as needed. 3. Pineapples are suitable for growing in loose, fertile and humus soil. For home cultivation, you can choose to mix 2 parts of peaty soil with 1 part of fine sand to prepare culture soil.

Pineapple is the flowering period in winter, requiring sufficient fertilizer, usually every two weeks to apply thin organic liquid fertilizer, such as soybean cake, sesame sauce residue soaking liquid (concentration of 20 is appropriate), can also use soybean soaking liquid or fermented rice washing water. 4. Pineapple likes a moist environment, and the potting soil can be kept moist on weekdays, and it is generally not watered on rainy days. For home farming, it is best to use water that has been dried, not directly watered with tap water.

Pest control: Pineapple flowers are prone to pests and diseases in an environment with high temperature and humidity and poor ventilation, such as soot disease, powdery mildew, red spiders, scale insects, etc.

If a disease is found, carbendazim can be sprayed in time, and insect pests can be sprayed with dimethoate. Whatever kind of spraying solution is sprayed, it must be done outdoors to prevent contamination of the indoor environment. There is an easy way to promote early flowering of pineapples: find a large plastic bag that does not leak, put in 2 or 3 cut apple petals, fill them with air, cover the entire pot with it, and tie the top bite. Open the bag once a day to replace the air.

If the apple petals are black, replace them with two fresh ones. The ethylene gas released from apple petals has the effect of promoting the flowering of pineapples. At the same time, the pot should be placed in a semi-shaded place and watered with a small amount of water.

After the bromeliads bloom, the central leaf cluster dies and the next daughter plants continue to grow. It can be taken from the mother plant and replanted. If you want to breed more, you can change the pot in spring, cut the small tuber cuttings that grow out of the tuber part of the mother plant, or use the young shoots that germinate from the roots of the old plants, and keep them warm and moisturized, when the root system grows to 2 to 3 cm, you can plant the orange.
