On incense, if you put on two sticks of incense, you want to be wise and convenient; If there are three sticks of incense, then offer them to the three jewels of the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha as body, mouth and mind; If you put on four incense sticks, you want to make offerings to the Guru, the Buddha Treasure, the Dharma Treasure, and the Sangha Treasure; If there are five branches, then think of them as they are; If there are six sticks of incense, think of six paramitas; If there are seven sticks of incense to burn, think of the seven bodhi divisions; If there are eight sticks of incense, think about the Noble Eightfold Path; If there are nine or ten, you can think about them one by one, and if there is no problem, you can do it. If there are thirty-two incense sticks, think of the thirty-two phases of the Buddha; If you offer 80 branches, you think that the 80 kinds of Buddha are good, and if you offer 84,000 branches, you want to think of 84,000 methods.
In fact, the Buddha statue represents the Buddha and is the food field for all sentient beings to accumulate merit. The Buddha is a fully enlightened being, and he does not need our ordinary people's food or flowers, etc., and he will never get angry because we don't make offerings or because we make offerings in the afternoon. We make offerings for the benefit of all sentient beings, because the number of sentient beings is immeasurable, so our merits are also immeasurable.
As long as you make offerings with a pure and correct intention, even if you only make a short incense stick, you can accumulate immeasurable merits. If you only make offerings for your own interests in this world, no matter how much incense you offer, the benefits will not be very great.
However, it is better to make offerings when you get up in the morning, and the rule of not making offerings after noon may be due to the fact that in the past, Indians did not eat at noon, and for such a reason, they rarely made offerings in the afternoon, which is a habit. But offering to the Buddha is okay in the evening or in the afternoon, because it's not a question of whether the Buddha eats or not, it's a question of how devout your faith is.

First of all, Buddha is not a god, and besides, there are no rules, just have respect.

The following reads, "When seeing a Buddha statue, regardless of the statue, one should dress and worship, and at the very least, ask for questions, i.e., make a bow or clasp hands." When we see a Buddha statue, whether it is a sculpture, a bronze statue, a paper, a print, a painting, etc., we should dress and worship and respectfully fold our palms.
If the occasion is not allowed, for example, when we are on the road and we see a Buddha statue on the side of the road, there are many people, and the occasion is very allowed, we should also respectfully clasp our palms, with a sincere heart, respectfully clasp our palms, and under normal circumstances, we have to worship, which is what it means. "If you see a statue of Buddha in the temple hall, you must worship."
For example, when you go to a monastery, you have to worship. Because the temple is a place to worship the Buddha, that is, a place to practice, if it is in the lay forest, the Buddha hall, or in the Buddha hall at home, when you go to the Buddha hall, you must worship the incense, because it is a more solemn occasion, and you can also say "There is no Buddha in the heavens and the world, and the world of the ten directions is incomparable."
-
You can go to a nearby monastery and ask for it, usually in a higher position in the main house of your home.
You can't offer meat, usually flowers or fruits, but in fact, the offering is sincere first, even if.
It is also okay to offer a bowl of water; It is recommended that the landlord can read the Buddhist scriptures while offering to the Buddha and Bodhisattva.
-
The Buddha is born in the heart, and respecting the Buddha in the heart is respecting the Buddha. If you are sincere, donor, memorize the Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra!
Please accept the good man's answer, thank you.
