1. Car touch-ups.

The process of car paint repair is actually more complicated, and if you want to make a good paint surface, in addition to high-quality paint, there is a set of cumbersome and mature process means. Each of these steps has its own necessity. We follow the process of painting to understand the knowledge of paint surface.

Step 1:

Prepare the area you want to paint. Some people just spray paint on the door or hood. If you're just painting a part and it's easy to remove, remove it to the work area, for example:

Once you get the correct color, the sand is then used for 800 sandpaper areas. After sanding again, wipe it with a microfiber cloth.

Step 3: Spray a clear coating in the same way with the paint color of your choice. All you need is a transparent coat with one or two light-colored coats. Let it dry as much as possible, as it is the last coat or coat of outerwear on your car.

After drying the transparent coat, the area of wet sand is again used with 800 water sandpaper. Next, use 1000 water sandpaper, then 1200 water sandpaper, 1500 water sandpaper, and finally 2000 water sandpaper.

Process 4: Use a rubbed compound and a light yellow surface. After rubbing the compound, use a medium cut polished and light yellow surface. Finally, paint your car well so you can protect your paint.

4) Patching: Use the reverse sticking technique to paste the masking paper.

5) Painting primer: Mix 4:1 red primer and spray 1 2 layers of sanding on the exposed metal position, and then dry.

6) Fill putty: Fill the hollow position of the mixed multi-functional putty on the body and place it in an environment of 20 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.

7) Sanding putty: Use P60 240 sandpaper to sand, check the flatness, pinholes and imprints with the feel or sanding indicator layer.

8) Extra young putty: use when necessary, fill pinholes, sandpaper marks, etc.

9) Sanding: Use P280 sandpaper to thoroughly polish the old paint that needs to be sprayed with intermediate paint on the body.

10) Dust removal and cleaning: Use pressure gun and silicon detergent to remove dust and stains on the body.

11) Wrapping: Paste the masking paper.

12) Spraying intermediate paint: Mix 2 3 layers of multi-functional intermediate paint, each layer is spaced for 5 10 minutes, then dry at 60 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes, and then spray the grinding indicator layer. (13) Polishing the intermediate paint:

Use P320 400 sandpaper to sand the dried intermediate paint.

14) Inspection: Check the grinding effect, you can do micro-filling.

15) Dust removal and cleaning: remove dust and stains from the car body.

16) Care: Cover the car body.

17) Dust removal and cleaning: first use a pressure gun to blow out the dust spots on the body, use a silicone cleaner to remove the body stains, use a pressure gun to blow out the dust in the gaps of the body, and finally use a sticky dust cloth to remove the fine dust on the body.

18) Spray plain paint on topcoat: spray 2 3 layers, each layer is spaced 5 10 minutes apart, and add curing agent and thinner according to the temperature.

19) Spraying base paint: spray 2 3 layers of plain paint, silver powder paint or pearl paint, each layer with an interval of 5 10 minutes.

20) Varnish spraying: Mix and spray two layers of varnish, each layer at an interval of 5 to 10 minutes, and add curing agent and diluent according to the temperature.

21) Bake dry: Let stand for 5 10 minutes, dry at 60 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. Drying and curing need to be judged, if it feels sticky to the touch of the finger, it is dry surface, if it does not leave finger marks when it is lightly touched, it is semi-hard dry, and if it is pressed without finger marks, it is completely dry.
