    Generally behind the engine, on the cylinder block, next to the oil filter cartridge seat. There is a plug with a wire on it, which is located on the front oil duct of the oil filter.

    The electronic oil pressure sensor consists of a thick film pressure sensor chip, a signal processing circuit, a housing, a fixed circuit board device, and two leads. The signal processing circuit is composed of a power supply circuit, a sensor compensation circuit, a zeroing circuit, a voltage amplification circuit, a current amplification circuit, a filter circuit and an alarm circuit.

    Figure 1 is a structural diagram of the sensor, and Figure 2 is a block diagram of the sensor. The thick film pressure sensor is a new type of strain pressure sensor that appeared in the 80s of the 20th century, which is developed by using the piezoresistive effect of the thick film resistance printed and sintered on the ceramic elastomer. Four thick film resistors are directly printed and sintered on a ceramic elastic diaphragm and connected to form a Wheatstone bridge through a conduction belt.

    When the measured liquid level pressure acts on the ceramic elastomer, the elastic diaphragm produces deflection deformation, and at the same time, the thick film resistance imprinted on the elastic diaphragm also produces strain of the same magnitude, and the resistance value of two thick film resistors decreases under compressive strain. The other 2 tensile strains increase the resistance value. In this way, the measured pressure value is converted into a bridge output signal, and the signal size is proportional to the pressure.

    Abbreviated as MAP he is a vacuum tube.

    Connect. The intake manifold senses the vacuum change in the intake manifold with different engine speed loads, and then converts the change of resistance from the sensor into a voltage signal for the ECM computer to correct the fuel injection amount and ignition timing angle.

    I don't know if the barometric pressure sensor of a gasoline engine is called an intake manifold pressure sensor. All I know is that the barometric pressure sensor and the intake pressure sensor on a diesel engine are definitely two different things, they are two different sensors. Taking Dr. IV's computer as an example, the barometric pressure sensor is integrated into the computer and is used to perceive the altitude of the outside world.

    Especially in high-altitude areas, where oxygen is thin, the car will obviously feel weak, but the fuel consumption will not increase, and the fault code will not be reported.

    The automotive intake pressure temperature sensor is generally installed on the intake manifold of the car, which is positioned above the intake manifold to prevent water accumulation.

    Usually the damage of the high temperature melt pressure sensor is caused by its improper installation position, if the sensor is forcibly installed in too small holes or irregularly shaped holes, it is possible to cause the vibration film of the sensor to be damaged by impact, and the selection of appropriate tools to process the mounting holes is conducive to controlling the size of the mounting holes.

    In addition, the appropriate installation torque is conducive to forming a good seal, but if the installation torque is too high, it is easy to cause the high-temperature melt pressure sensor to slip, so in order to prevent this phenomenon, it is common to apply anti-detachment compound to the threaded part of the sensor before installation.

    The function of the intake pressure sensor: the intake pressure sensor provides engine load information and intake temperature information, which can convert the pressure of the engine intake pipe into a corresponding electrical signal, and the engine electronic controller calculates the basic fuel injection time, fuel injection volume and ignition advance angle according to this signal. Here's how it works:

    The intake pressure sensor is used to detect the absolute pressure of the intake manifold behind the throttle, which detects the vacuum change in the intake manifold according to the engine speed and load, and then converts it into a signal voltage and sends it to the engine control unit (ECU) through the change of the internal resistance of the sensor, and the ECU controls and corrects the amount of fuel injection and the ignition timing angle according to the magnitude of the signal voltage.

    The intake pressure temperature sensor should be installed on the intake manifold of the car, which is positioned above the intake manifold to prevent water accumulation. It should be able to represent the pressure and inlet temperature of all inlet pipes, and generally install it on the regulator chamber to obtain the ideal pressure.

    1) The pressure and temperature sensor is designed to be installed on the horizontal surface of the automobile intake manifold, and its axis is recommended to be at an angle of 0°-60° with the vertical line;

    2) It is not allowed to knock the pressure sensor into the intake manifold mounting hole with any impact tool (such as hammer, etc.);

    3) Do not allow any corrosive liquid (such as acid, alkali, oil or lubricating fluid or even water) to invade the inside of the pressure sensor;

    4) The pressure intake hole is designed inside the intake manifold and is isolated from outside air by an "O" ring. It must be ensured that no solids accumulate inside the pressure holes.

    5) The intake pressure temperature sensor should be as far away from the throttle body as possible.

    1. Prevent the transmitter from coming into contact with corrosive or overheated media;

    2. Prevent the debris from being deposited in the catheter;

    3. When measuring liquid pressure, the pressure port should be opened on the side of the process pipeline to avoid sedimentation.

    4. When measuring gas pressure, the pressure port should be opened at the top of the process pipeline, and the transmitter should also be installed on the upper part of the process pipeline, so that the accumulated liquid can be easily injected into the process pipeline.

    5. The impulse pipe should be installed in a place with small temperature fluctuations;

    6. When measuring steam or other high-temperature media, it is necessary to connect a condenser such as a buffer tube (coil), and the working temperature of the transmitter should not exceed the limit.

    7. When freezing occurs in winter, anti-freezing measures must be taken according to the transmitter installed outdoors to avoid the expansion of the liquid in the impulse port due to the freezing volume and damage to the sensor.

    8. When measuring liquid pressure, the installation position of the transmitter should avoid the impact of the liquid (water hammer phenomenon), so as to avoid damage to the sensor by overpressure.

    9. When wiring, pass the cable through the waterproof joint (accessory) or winding pipe and tighten the sealing nut to prevent rainwater from leaking into the transmitter housing through the cable.
