The introduction to learning Buddhism is: faith, wish, action, and proof. These four Mahayana understandings begin.
Buddha: Jueya. It means awakening; Where does the truth of the ten thousand laws of the universe begin, "the idealism of the ten thousand laws, and the consciousness of the three realms".
Dharma: Masaya. The method used should be the correct method.
Monk: Jingya. A monk begins to correct his own heart and not be defiled with all the vices of the world.
These are the Three Jewels of Self-Cultivation. The so-called Three Jewels of Buddhism. Everyone has their own Three Jewels.

Read the sutras first, then think and practice.

To get started with Buddhism, there is a specific scripture to be recited. First start with the "Persuasion Bodhicitta Sutra", and then build the basic knowledge from the "Heart Sutra", the Heart Sutra is only 260 words, concise and profound, and then the "Ten Good Karma Sutra", "Eight Great People Jue Sutra", "Buddha Says Upasai Precept Sutra", "Auspicious Sutra", these are the foundation, and then go to read the "Great Compassion Mantra", "Miscellaneous Ahan Sutra", "Diamond Sutra", "Dizang Sutra", "Buddha Says Amitabha Sutra", "Guanyin Pumen Pin", "Lengyan Sutra" and so on.
To learn Buddhism and become a Buddha, simply put, it is necessary to go through the four steps of "believing, understanding, acting, and attaining" and adopting the six paths of "six paramitas", and go through the three levels of "precepts, concentration, and wisdom", and finally to achieve the right results and become a Buddha on the ground. Let me give you a brief introduction in turn:
1. Belief and interpretation: First of all, we must have faith, and have the determination to follow the footsteps of the Buddha to practice and follow the methods guided by the Buddha, which is called "faith", and Buddhism is also called "developing bodhicitta mind"; Then there will be a monk who is really a monk to explain the Dharma to you, that is, "understanding"; Then you have to do it according to the method taught to you by the monks, that is, linking theory with practice, which is called "doing"; Finally, it is verified from practice that what has been learned is true, which is called "proof";
2. The "Six Perfections of Paramita" are the six paths of spiritual practice, referred to as the "Six Perfections", namely: generosity, forbearance, vows, diligence, meditation, and prajna. In modern parlance, it is simply understood:
Selfless dedication (generosity), enduring grievances and suffering, observance of Buddhist rules and regulations (taking vows), studying hard to move up every day (diligent improvement), and meditating to free one's mind from the control of emotions (meditation) and attain supreme wisdom (Prajna).
3. Precepts and wisdom: This represents the realm of the three levels of practice, the "precepts" are the precepts above, the Buddha tells us what things can be done and what things cannot be done, monks must abide by 250 rules and regulations (Buddhism called "precepts"), female monks (we often say nuns) are 348, if you do not leave home and study Buddhism at home, you only need to abide by five precepts, that is, "hold five precepts" (it seems simple, it is not easy to do). "Meditation" means "meditation", which is the most important way of practice in Buddhism, in the words of the great monks, "A person who meditates may not be able to become a Buddha, but he must become a Buddha without meditation!"
"Hui" means "Prajna wisdom", because the word "Prajna" contains six different wisdoms, which cannot be translated, but can only be called "great wisdom".
In this way, we can achieve positive results, but for ordinary people, we should start from the "Three Refuges, Five Precepts and Ten Virtues", and start with filial piety to our parents! Parents are the first Buddha on our spiritual path!

Beginners should learn the correct knowledge and correct view first, and don't rush to start practicing, in fact, when learning the right knowledge and correct view, they have already entered the process of cultivation! Right view is the first step in learning Buddhism, and it is extremely important because it is related to the direction of your practice and the ultimate achievement of your practice on the path of learning Buddhism! The Master's words do not need to be listened to, nor do they follow the crowd, let alone fall into the superstitions of the world, and the scriptures for cultivating correct views are the first to recommend the [Miscellaneous Ahan Sutra], and other scriptures such as "The Buddha's Relic Sutra", "The Buddha's Sutra of Forty-two Chapters", and "The Sutra of the Eight Great People's Jue", the three are combined into the "Three Sutras of the Buddha's Relic Teachings".
In the sea of Buddhist scriptures, the three scriptures of Buddhism are three rare and easy to understand, such as the elders' eloquent talk, sincere and practical, and approachable! As for the remarks of various contemporary mages, you will be able to distinguish the truth from the falsity of the above scriptures when you understand them! If you don't understand, you can continue to ask!

1. Reading the Tibetan Sutra is a common practice method in Buddhism. Insist on washing your hands and sitting upright every day, reading the Dizang Sutra from beginning to end (it is better to read it several times), forming a habit, and persevering, that is, practicing the Dizang Sutra, the longer you persist in it, the better, and the greater the change in fate;
2. The Dizang Sutra can be obtained through the following ways: 1. Online**; 2. Search with the keyword "free marriage Tibetan scriptures", and you can find the ** of free marriage; 3. Use the keyword "Honghua Society" to find the homepage of Honghua Society for free scriptures, and there is a version of the scriptures in it, which is free; 4. Go to a nearby temple and please; 5. Through **search and audio search, find the ** and audio of the Jizo Sutra for learning.
Third, you can learn through many large forums. For example, "Xuanhua Venerable Master's Dharma Treasure Network", "Honghua Society", "Dizang Forum", "Dizang Forum", "China Liberation Alliance" and so on.

Correct cultivation will gradually get better, and even if there are repetitions, the whole will still develop in a good direction. Born from the heart, a person who is capable of learning Buddhism, kind eyebrows, relaxed and happy, ruddy complexion, and good health. If you cultivate more and more, the more troubled you become, the more painful you become, and the more you cultivate, the more unsmooth it becomes...It is necessary to reflect on whether there is something wrong with the practice method.
If we want to improve our destiny, we must start by cultivating merit and accumulating good fortune, rather than opportunistically, thinking that just chanting sutras and chanting mantras to the Buddha can get what you want, and you can get rid of suffering and happiness, which is impossible, and there is no such thing in the world as a matter of not working hard. No hard work, no gain, only true cultivation and empirical evidence, doing good deeds and accumulating virtue, is the best way to improve destiny.
Money in the sky, money in the banks on the earth. If you want to change your life, the prerequisite must be to have merit, which is an intangible wealth that can be exchanged for all kinds of blessings in the world. The most practical thing is to do the results, on the one hand, to pay off the karmic debts of the world, and on the other hand, to accumulate a large amount of good fortune, which is the biggest backer in the world.
Good fortune is enough, good fortune is enough wisdom, and good fortune is enough for nobles.

The classic books include "The Explanation of the Hundred Dharmas" and "The Five Aggregates of Mahayana", these two basic treatises on the Enlightenment of Consciousness are not long, and they are dedicated to the basis of various laws, and after learning, they will at least have some concept of Buddhism.
After learning these two treatises, depending on your own preferences, if you like Mahayana, you will continue to study the Eight Senses and the Theory of Enlightenment, and after learning the Theory of Enlightenment, Mahayana Buddhism will be basically proficient, and the connection between various concepts and extremes will be clear.
One of them is particularly mentioned that it is the argument in the middle of the argument, which is a relatively short and concise work in the ancient meaning and only the division of the knowledge, if you want to understand the ancient meaning of the only knowledge, you can learn this treatise and the thirty verses of the only knowledge annotated by An Hui.
If you like Hinayana Buddhism, you can study Kusha Buddhism, and after studying Kusha Buddhism, you will find that Hinayana Buddhism is not the inferior root nature of Mahayana Buddhism, because the breadth and profundity of the Kusha Theory basically surpasses Mahayana Buddhism.
If you like to practice, you can learn the pure Taoism of Southern Buddhism, the theoretical guidance of the pure Taoism is the most nuanced of all the scriptures, and if you don't see the pure Taoism, you don't know what practical practice is, and most of the practical practices of Chinese Buddhism are basically wrong. At the same time, it is important to have a general understanding of the history of Buddhism, as well as the similarities and differences between the various sects.

When the Kalama people were hesitant and unable to decide what teachings to accept, the Buddha preached the Kalama Sutra on this issue, telling them who were confused, and also to us who were also confused: do not accept or believe anything immediately, lest you become a slave to the knowledge of others, including the Buddha himself.
To this end, the Buddha summarized ten principles:
1. Don't believe it because of other people's oral traditions and legends.
2. Don't believe it because you follow tradition.
3. Don't believe it because it's news that's circulating.
Fourth, just because it is a religious classic, do not believe it to be true.
Fifth, do not believe it because it is based on logic.
6. Don't believe it because it's philosophical.
7. Don't believe it because it conforms to common sense outward reasoning.
8. Don't believe it because it conforms to your own **, opinions, and concepts.
9. Don't believe the truth because of the prestige of the speaker.
10. Don't believe it because he's a guru or a master.
The Kalama Sutra highlights the fundamental spirit of Buddhism in seeking truth, truth, and verification, which is different from many other religions that are purely faith-based. The above ten points are even more deafening sobering words.
Kalama people! Thou shalt not believe in the wind; Don't believe in legends; Don't believe what you say; Do not believe in the doctrine of the Tibetan scriptures; Don't believe in thinkers; Don't believe those who are based on reason; Do not believe those who are well aware of causes; Even if it is in agreement with the opinion of deliberation and forbearance, do not believe it; Don't believe the speaker, even if he is capable; Even though this Shamen is my teacher, don't believe it. Kalama people!
If you only realize that this Dharma is not good, this Dharma is sinful, and this Dharma is slandered by the wise. If this method is perfected and grasped, it will lead to uselessness and suffering, then the Kalama people! Thou shalt be cut off at the right time!

To study the Dharma, it is not enough to learn knowledge and copying. Knowledge does not allow people to truly be free from suffering, to be free from life and death, and to attain nirvana. Knowledge belongs to the category of the sixth consciousness, and there is still the seventh consciousness and the eighth consciousness to break through.
Why do many Buddhist scholars not believe in the six realms of reincarnation and karma? It is to study the Dharma as knowledge, and it is impossible to break through the horizon or even the realm of consciousness, which means that it is impossible to truly understand the Dharma by thinking. If we want to truly understand the Dharma, we must use our mind and body as experiments, explore the unknown world, follow the methods taught by the Buddha, and keep learning and going deeper until we become Buddhas.
This is what we often call "practice". Is Buddhism superstitious? Is it true that the Buddha experienced?
You have to prove it yourself. The spirit of the Dharma is precisely skeptical, empirical, the so-called "big doubt, big realization, small doubt, no doubt, no doubt." "But it has to be really practiced!
You can take a look at Nan Huaijin's book first, which is less religious and more suitable for intellectuals. Then choose a method to practice and see what happens.
