During his master's and doctoral studies, he participated in the research work of important topics such as the National Natural Sciences, the National Social Sciences, and the Shanghai Social Sciences as a member of the core research group, and also participated in the applied research projects commissioned by the National Population and Family Planning Commission, the National Bureau of Statistics, and the Shanghai Municipal Government. In recent years, he has carried out research on theoretical and practical issues such as population and economic development, domestic population migration, floating population in large cities, and macroeconomic regulation and control of urban population, and published 6 articles in journals such as "Human Geography" and "Population and Development".
