Mom wants to go abroad once before the passport expires, just when Dad's colleague made an appointment to go to the Maldives, I like to see the sea the most, but it is a bit expensive, live in a sea view room, almost a year's salary of Mom, but we are also happy to play once. However, I really feel that someone deliberately did not let us go abroad, just when we were preparing for the trip, my mother found out that she was pregnant with my younger brother, if only me and my father went, it would be too lonely, so I had to agree that when my brother grew up and went to kindergarten, our family would go abroad to play together, and there was no way, so I had to let my passport slowly expire.

Next summer, my mother's friend plans to take us to Thailand, and my father's old classmates also make an appointment to go to the United States together, but I am really afraid that something will hinder my dream of going abroad next time!

After visiting the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore last week, we took another cruise to Mackinac Island this Saturday.

Mackinac Island is located in northern Michigan, United States, and is home to the summer heat'Famous tourist destinations. The island is closed to motor vehicles, and all visitors and locals can only use walking, bicycles or horse-drawn carriages.

Looking out from the cruise ship, the lake is clear and sparkling, glowing with a faint blue light, like a seaside scene.

As soon as the cruise ship arrives, walk out of the pier and head out onto Main Street, the busiest part of Mackinac Island. There are many shops on both sides, and flower baskets hang under the street lamps in front of the houses, which are colorful and refreshing.

The most distinctive feature of the island is the horse-drawn carriages that run on the road from time to time. Suddenly, Dad had an idea, why don't we go and take the carriage? My dad and I looked at each other and smiled.

So we sat in the carriage, which looked simple and gorgeous, and the two fat horses, a young and beautiful coachman, and the excited tourists, constituted a unique scenery of Mackinac Island.

Along the way, the groom explained to us the scenery on both sides of the road: tourists who drove their own pony carriages, tourists who could see different styles of buildings every once in a while, tourists who cycled around the island, golf courses, churches, museums, forests, etc. We sat in the carriage and busily took pictures with our mobile phones.

Time slipped away unconsciously, and the carriage of more than an hour quickly swam the entire roundabout. Getting off the carriage, we saw that there were souvenir shops, butterflies and carriages. Mom said that there are souvenirs at every attraction, and you can choose one you like as a souvenir.

I picked left and right, and finally picked a horse, carried it in my hand, and my heart was happy.

As the sun set, we happily boarded the round-trip cruise ship to the island.
