He was formerly the director of Kaifeng Starch Factory, and is currently the deputy director of the Kaifeng Suburban Economic Committee, the director of the National Starch and Sugar Association, and the standing committee member of the Henan Industrial Biochemical Society. In 1979, he was assigned to work in Kaifeng Starch Factory. Under his auspices, the factory has formed a new production pattern with industry as the main body, aquaculture and planting as the two wings, and agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in an all-round way.

In 1987, he served as the director of the factory, and more firmly took the road of rejuvenating the factory with science and technology, and he led the factory research team to complete the project of "oral glucose-corn deep processing and comprehensive utilization", which made starch production enter a new field of the pharmaceutical industry. The construction of his eco-economic project led to 16 production projects: the production of corn syrup from the wastewater from soaking corn, the extraction of corn germ for oil, the refining of corn yellow pulp to produce protein powder, the production of glucose from starch, and the production of feed from pressed corn tortillas - from which five farms of dairy cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, and fish were found, and biogas stations were built with waste hot water and livestock manure - living residue, bath and organic wastewater were used to improve the soil, and five plantations such as nurseries, orchards, and vegetable gardens were established. Thus, a complete virtuous cycle of ecological economy has been completed, and the simultaneous growth of economic, social and ecological benefits has been realized.

Near Manila, Philippines, there is a farm called Maya, which is recognized as a model for the construction of ecological agriculture in the world today. His eco-economic enterprise has been highly praised by experts in the environmental protection sector at home and abroad. While developing the enterprise, he has also made a series of scientific and technological achievements:

The project of "Establishment of Corn Deep Processing and Comprehensive Utilization Technology and Ecological Economic Model" presided over by him won the national "Spark Science and Technology Second Prize" in 1991; In 1992, he was awarded the second prize of environmental protection scientific and technological progress by the State Environmental Protection Administration. In November 1992, he won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. Kaifeng Starch Factory was awarded the title of National Advanced Enterprise in Environmental Protection by the National Environmental Protection Committee.
