China Scenic Area Association 1 is a community organization with legal personality in China's scenic area industry, which is subject to the business guidance, supervision and management of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China. The Secretariat of the China Association of Scenic Areas is located in Beijing. In 2002, the China Association of Scenic Areas was officially accepted as a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as a national non-governmental organization (NGO).

Governing Bodies: The leading bodies of the Association include the National Member Congress, the Council and the Standing Council. The highest governing body of the Association is the National Congress of Members, which is held every four years.

The National Congress of Members elects the Council of Directors, which is the executive body of the Association, with a term of four years and meets once a year. The Standing Council is elected by the Council, presides over the daily work of the Association when the Council is not in session, exercises the functions and powers of the Council, and represents the Association to the outside world. Since its establishment, the association has held two national member congresses and produced two councils and standing councils.

According to the Articles of Association, members are divided into group members and individual members. national, provincial, municipal (county) level scenic spots; Institutions and social groups directly related to the industry of scenic spots. There are 400 group members.

Scenic workers, experts, scholars and people who have made great contributions to the cause of scenic spots. Renowned national parks and World Heritage Workers abroad can be hired as Honorary Members.

China Scenic Area Association follows the relevant national guidelines, policies and laws and regulations, and plays the role of a bridge between the scenic area industry and the leading departments according to the requirements of the country's reform and opening up and economic development, safeguards the legitimate rights and interests of members, and serves the development of the scenic area industry and members; Follow the working policy of "scientific planning, unified management, strict protection and sustainable utilization" to promote the healthy and sustainable development of national scenic spots.
