Article 8 Enterprises, groups and individuals who recognize this Charter, voluntarily participate in an organization of the Federation of Industry and Commerce, and promise to fulfill their membership obligations may apply for membership.
1) All kinds of enterprises shall be corporate members after their applications for membership are approved.
The main body of enterprise members is non-public enterprises, mainly including private enterprises, limited liability companies and shares controlled by non-public economic components, Hong Kong and Macao investment enterprises, etc.
2) Industry associations, industry chambers of commerce, chambers of commerce in other places, private enterprise associations, self-employed workers' associations and other industrial and commercial associations and other relevant social organizations with legal person status shall be group members after their applications for membership are approved; The Chamber of Commerce affiliated to the Federation of Industry and Commerce is a group member.
3) The main investors and operators of non-public enterprises, individual industrial and commercial households, etc., shall be individual members after the application for membership is approved; Relevant persons who are connected with the work of the Federation of Industry and Commerce, and people from the Hong Kong and Macao business circles who have invested in the Mainland may apply to become individual members; Representatives of units that have established working contacts with the Federation of Industry and Commerce may be invited to join as individual members after consultation; Former industrialists and businessmen are individual members.
Article 9 The principle of voluntary membership and freedom of withdrawal shall be implemented.
The federations of industry and commerce at all levels may, in accordance with the provisions of this charter and the actual situation, formulate specific conditions for membership and methods for handling entry and withdrawal procedures, and report to the federation of industry and commerce at the next higher level for the record.
Article 10 If a member violates the Articles of Association or violates criminal laws, his/her membership shall be suspended or cancelled.
Article 11 The members of the local federation of industry and commerce at all levels are also the members of the higher-level federation of industry and commerce.
Article 12 Members have the following rights:
1) The right to vote, the right to be elected, and the right to vote;
2) Reflect opinions, requirements and suggestions to the Federation of Industry and Commerce;
3) Participate in visits, study and training activities organized by the Federation of Industry and Commerce;
4) To accept the services provided by the Federation of Industry and Commerce;
5) To require the Federation of Industry and Commerce to safeguard its legitimate rights and interests;
6) Supervise the work of the Federation of Industry and Commerce.
Article 13 Members shall have the following obligations:
a) Comply with this Charter;
2) Implement organizational resolutions;
3) Pay membership dues in accordance with regulations;
4) Care and support the work of the Federation of Industry and Commerce;
5) Accept organizational supervision;
6) Handling matters entrusted by the organization.
