There are several methods of gastric lavage, and how to use a gastric lavage machine

Patients with oral poisons should be intubated as soon as possible and should not be limited by time. For those who have taken a large amount of poison within 4 to 6 hours, this gastric lavage method should be preferred because of the good detoxification effect and relatively few complications.

How to use:1The machine is inspected before using pure punching;

2.Filling: Put the gastric inlet tube into the prepared gastric lavage, put the gastric lavage valve in the "filling and discharge" position, and turn on the working switch;

3.Gastric tube: Choose a gastric tube with an appropriate diameter of plum pants, first coat the outer wall of the gastric tube with paraffin oil, and then spray 2% ephedrine deep into the nasal cavity.

The gastric tube is slowly inserted from the patient's nasal cavity about 60 cm. If it is difficult to insert it from the nasal cavity, use an opener to insert about 55 cm from the mouth, but do not insert a gastric tube into the trachea. Then, connect the white branch tube at the upper end of the gastric tube to the end of the gastric lavage machine, and connect the red branch tube to the end of the gastric tube;

4.Gastric lavage: Place the gastric lavage valve in the "gastric lavage" position, and press the working start switch;

5.Gastric tube: Disconnect the tube from the gastric lavage machine first. Then, slowly remove the gastric tube from the patient's nose or mouth;

6.Flush the bottle and gastric tube: Place the gastric lavage valve in the "filling and discharging" position, turn on the working switch, and drain the dirty liquid from the bottle.

At the same time, the storage bottle inhales clean water, discharges the sewage according to the filling method, and repeats 2 to 3 times. Connect the two branch tubes of the gastric tube to the tap separately, wash them inside and outside with clean water, and store them in 75% ethanol for later use.

1. Oral emetic method.

This method is mainly suitable for patients who are awake and cooperative.

2. Perfusion gastric lavage method (infundibular gastric tube gastric lavage).

A gastric lavage tube is inserted into the patient's stomach through the mouth, and the gastric contents and poisons are expelled by gravity or siphon.

3. Electric suction device gastric lavage.

The electric suction device gastric lavage method is to use an electric suction device to connect the gastric lavage tube to lavage the stomach, which can quickly and effectively remove the poison and accurately record the amount of gastric lavage liquid when rescuing patients with acute poisoning.

4. Automatic gastric lavage machine gastric lavage method.

The gastric lavage method of automatic gastric lavage machine uses the electromagnetic pump as the power source, and through the control of the automatic control circuit, the solenoid valve automatically converts the action, and completes the gastric lavage process of flushing the liquid medicine into the stomach and sucking out the gastric contents, which can automatically, quickly and completely remove the poison in the stomach.

It is mostly used for patients who have ingested harmful substances by mistake or by themselves. Because the patient is often mentally shocked or afraid of gastric lavage, it leads to special psychological changes in the patient.

Contraindications to gastric lavage are patients with strong corrosive poisons, gasoline, kerosene, upper gastrointestinal bleeding, esophageal varices, and severe heart disease.

Gastric tube: The front of the gastric tube is coated with paraffin oil, and the tube is intubated through the mouth and nose, after entering 45 to 50cm, the correct position of the intubation is determined by withdrawing gastric juice or injecting air into the gastric area to hear a grunt sound, and the gastric tube is fixed.

Gastric lavage: first drain the gastric contents (for poison analysis), inject 300 500ml of solution, and inject antidotes, activated carbon, etc. after cleaning.

gastric lavage solution: gastric mucosal protectors such as milk, egg white, rice soup, vegetable oil, etc., are used for corrosive poisons; Gasoline, kerosene and other fat-soluble organic solvents are first dissolved with 150 200ml of liquid paraffin oil, and then gastric lavage; Alkaloids, sulfonamides, barbiturates, salicylic acids, phenol, arsenic and other poisons can be adsorbed with 30 50g activated carbon; 1: 5000 potassium permanganate solution can be used as an oxidant to oxidize and detoxify alkaloids and mushrooms.
