Mencius Liang Hui Wang" insight.
Under the background of the current cultural system and the hype fast food culture, if the repression and impetuousness are removed, can the seedlings of those ideological and cultural giants like Confucius and Mencius who keep the poverty develop and give them freedom of thought and action?
The giants of thought and culture want to have a voice, a stage for preaching, and the freedom to choose to stay when they are in harmony with the rulers or not.
Mencius's arguments are first-rate, and one of its characteristics is that the vivid metaphors make the abstract and boring ideas become a brilliant spark with soul in the simple explanation.
When answering why King Liang Hui had "not many people who are widowed," he did not directly answer King Liang Hui's question, but used the example of "50 steps and 100 steps of laughter" to vividly point out that "there is no essential difference between his administration and that of his neighbors" and made it clear that "benevolent government" is the "royal road." So what is the specific way to "govern benevolently"?
Then, Mencius made it clear in the way of laying out the arrangement: "Do not violate the agricultural time", "Do not enter the pond with a number of grains", "Enter the mountains and forests when the axe is in time", and "Let the people live and die without regrets". In addition, "five acres of house trees to mulberry", "chickens, guineas and dogs, no time", "100 acres of land, do not take the time".
There is also "the teaching of the order, and the righteousness of filial piety". Governing the country with "benevolence" and practicing the royal road is the fundamental point of 'people-oriented thinking'. Return the government to the people, educate with etiquette, first make the people rich, and then pave them with courtesy, so as to realize the "royal road".
In contrast to the real world, political leaders of various countries pay attention to the interests of their own countries or groups and never take into account the existence of living beings. Ignoring the enormous humanitarian catastrophe brought about by war, some major powers can launch war after war to suppress those who disagree with their politics, culture and ideology, and for some political purposes, they can also indulge certain countries to use the malicious provocations of their neighbors to achieve ulterior motives.
And some of today's "local tyrants" can buy pets for tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of yuan, buy pet food, and make pet clothes. And never care, there are still thousands of people on the planet, struggling under the poverty line, thirsting for food and medicine to continue life. And some rulers who hold great power in their hands are high, never take the suffering of the people to heart, unscrupulous means and no mercy, and take advantage of the situation to the point of outrageousness.

Mencius lived during the Warring States period, when society was divided into chaos. Mencius was a representative figure of Confucianism after Confucius, and was revered as "Yasheng" by later generations. This is an essay in classical Chinese that records some of Mencius's conversations with King Hui of Liang and King Xuan of Qi, and introduces Mencius's political views.
Mencius visited King Hui of Liang, and King Hui of Liang said, "Suo! Thousands of miles away, there will also be Eli my country?
Reading this sentence made me know that King Liang Hui was a greedy person for profit. Then Mencius said to King Hui of Liang that if a country was in contention with each other, the country would be in danger. If everyone has a benevolent heart, the country will be peaceful and slowly become stronger.
Mencius said, "Those who have not been benevolent and have left their relatives behind, and those who have not been righteous and then their kings." "I understand that this passage tells us to have a benevolent heart, with kindness and morality, with love and courtesy in the heart, so that the relationship between people is harmonious and everyone is united.
As long as the country is united, it can be strong.
This made me think that whether at home or at school, as long as everyone is kind and moral, does not compete for interests, and cares and treats others everywhere, then the family will be very warm and the relationship between classmates will be very harmonious.

Mencius in "Mencius Liang Hui Wang I" grasped the heart of King Liang Hui's desire to be the king of the world and establish hegemony, and concentrated on expounding the benevolent government idea of "protecting the people and the king, and Mo Zhi can reign". Mencius uses the technique of questioning to lead people to the example, and uses the trivial things that he has seen in daily life to explain the reason, which is interlocking, vivid and interesting, and has strong persuasive power, which fully reflects Mencius's language style and shows Mencius's wit and eloquence.

Translation: Mencius meets King Hui of Liang. King Liang Hui said:
Sir, you have come from thousands of miles away, you must have something good for my country, right? Mencius said, "Great King!
Why bother talking about profit? Just say righteousness. The king said, 'How can I make my country good?'
The doctor said, 'How can I benefit my family?' Ordinary people and common people said, 'How can I benefit myself?' As a result, the top and bottom compete with each other for interests, and the country is in danger!
In a country with 10,000 military chariots, the man who kills its king must be a doctor with a thousand military chariots; In a country with a thousand chariots, the one who kills its king must be a doctor with a hundred chariots. These doctors have a thousand in a country of 10,000 military vehicles, and a hundred in a country of a thousand military vehicles, and their possession is not insignificant. However, if they put righteousness last and profit first, they will never be satisfied if they do not take the position of king.
On the other hand, those who have never preached "benevolence" have abandoned their parents, and those who have never preached righteousness have neglected the king. Therefore, the king only speaks of righteousness, so why bother to speak of profit? ”
Who is King Liang Hui? Many people think that he is from Liang, but he is not from Liang, but from Wei, and is called King Wei Huicheng. The earliest capital of the Wei State was in Anyi, and the Wei State was defeated in a war with the Qin State, so it moved away from Anyi and moved to Daliang, which is the Kaifeng we are talking about today.
So everyone called him King Liang Hui, and they called him by the name Kaifeng, but in fact he was the king of Wei.
When Mencius saw King Hui of Liang, he came all the way to King Hui of Liang to explain his philosophy of governance. This sentence is very famous, and it must make sense that the beginning of "Mencius" starts here, that is, let everyone see what it means to be an imperial teacher. There are not many people who can be called an imperial teacher throughout the ages, and Confucius is not an imperial teacher.
Confucius was very cautious when he talked to the king, and even sweated like pulp. But when Mencius spoke to the king, it was always a lesson.
Insight: We should look at the problem from a higher latitude, not just look at the problem itself. Raise awareness, look outside the box, and solve the problem fundamentally.
