In accordance with the provisions of this Law and other relevant laws and administrative regulations, relevant departments such as for transportation, housing and urban-rural construction, water conservancy, and civil aviation shall supervise and manage the work safety of relevant industries and fields within the scope of their respective duties; In accordance with the provisions of this Law and other relevant laws and regulations, the relevant departments of the local people's governments at or above the county level shall supervise and manage the work of production safety in relevant industries and fields within the scope of their respective duties. If the responsibilities for the supervision and management of production safety in emerging industries and fields are not clear, the local people at or above the county level shall determine the supervision and management departments in accordance with the principle of similar operations.

Emergency management departments and departments that supervise and manage work safety in relevant industries and fields are collectively referred to as departments responsible for the supervision and management of production safety. The departments responsible for the supervision and management of production safety shall cooperate with each other, work together, share information and resources, and strengthen the supervision and management of production safety in accordance with the law.
