I'm quite afraid of the cold in winter, so I usually turn on the air conditioner, and put the puppy in the air-conditioned room at this time. If it's still small and can run around, it's best to keep it in a cage with a soft cushion underneath the cage. If it doesn't run around, then you can just prepare a kennel for it, and it will obediently get into it itself.

If your home doesn't have an air conditioner in winter, you can prepare an airtight kennel for it. You can modify the cage on the basis of it, wrap the cage around it with a thick cloth, and put a soft cushion inside the cage so that it will be much better, if possible, you can also put the heater next to it.

Probably these methods, you don't want to make the kennel particularly warm, the dog will be very irritable if it is too hot, after all, they have a layer of protective hair on their body.
