Sheep's hair, wolf's hair, and chicken hair can be fully opened, or you can choose to open half-open, two-thirds or one-third according to your own usage habits.

Fully open or partially open has different effects when writing. The pen that is fully immersed in the pen contains more ink, and the pen that is not fully open contains less ink. In the former, the writing is rich and complete, while in the latter, the pen root is harder, which is easy to control and write.

When writing, you should also choose a pen based on the size of the words you are writing. Some people like to soak all the small pens and use them to practice large characters. In this way, although it is easy to control the strokes, it is not conducive to mastering the variety of writing skills, and it is difficult to retract the brush head after the thick strokes are scattered, and the loss of the pen is also large.

There are also people who like to practice small characters with a large pen that is fully immersed. Although this is overkill, it can exercise the ability to control the pen, which has certain benefits for the learner.

It is recommended to open it wide, both for beginners and veterans. Even think that beginners should be more open. Because the first task of a beginner is to familiarize yourself with the brushwork.

A pen is only one-third open, and the pen character is not fully displayed, how to get familiar with it? Although the writing is a little vigorous, the hand-to-pen control has not improved much. It is considered to be an empirical statement, but in fact it is suspected of being misleading.

If beginners really want to practice well, it is best to follow two principles of using a pen: 1. Insist on writing small characters with a large pen, and oppose writing large characters with a small pen. 2. Insist on using both (and even soft) and oppose the use of hard. The pen is only one-third open, and when analyzed carefully, it violates the above two principles.

Before using a new pen, you need to open the pen first, and you can't write it directly in ink.

Brushes are divided by size, and the common ones are small Kai, medium and large, and bucket pens. For different sizes of brushes, the process is roughly the same.

2) Use a clip (long tail clip, clothes clip, etc.) to clamp the brush on the edge of the bottle, so that the tip of the pen is suspended in the bottle, and pay attention to the tip of the pen can not be pressed against the bottom of the bottle.

You can use your ingenuity to find suitable tools to replace them.

Which method is better? Choose according to your own conditions.

Regarding the time of soaking the pen, there is no special fixation, in principle, soak until the pen is completely dispersed, my own experience, small block pen, one or two minutes can. Medium block pen, ranging from 3-5 minutes.

4.After soaking the pen, gently wash the nib to remove the gum.

5.After washing, straighten the pen and hang it.

How do I store my brush after use?

The best way to save the brush is to hang it on the pen holder, and the book friends who do not have a pen can find a hook and other alternatives, and there is really no condition to put the brush flat.

Do not place the wet pen tip upwards, if the pen is not dry and transparently placed upwards, it is easy to reverse the residual ink into the pen barrel, causing the pen to be damaged and fall off and the pen barrel to swell.

Of course, after the pen is completely dry, you can insert the brush into the pen holder for storage.

The opening of the pen is consistent with the above-mentioned process, but because of its thick pen head, it can not be easily twisted with fingers, so it can skip the step of twisting the pen head and directly soak the pen.

The so-called moistening pen is to soak the pen with water, and then lift it, not for a long time. Then use a paper towel to squeeze out the water before adding the ink.

Into the ink. Dip all the pen into the ink, if the ink is too dry, it can't run freely, and if the ink is too much, the waist is weak, and neither can be done. When you have a lot of ink, you can lick the pen along the edge of the ink bowl and step on the excess ink.

Don't: boiling water is scalded - easy to deform.

Immersion in water for too long – easy to shed.

Pen: When the pen is turned, we follow the direction of the pen, tilt the pen, and turn the pen while turning. If you feel that there is too much ink, you can gently scrape off some of it by the inkstone.

Wash the pen: no matter what kind of ink, there will be some gum in it, if they are allowed to dry on the brush for a long time, the damage to the pen is also great, therefore, after each use of the brush, you need to wash the pen, the pen along the direction of the pen, after washing, hang on the pen holder.

Pen habits that are not recommended:

1. Use the pen cap: Although many brushes now have a pen cap, it is not recommended to use it, because in the process of putting it in, it will inevitably squeeze the pen, and in the long run, it will affect the service life of the pen.

2. Insert it upside down in the pen holder: if the brush has been dry, of course it can, but if it is a freshly washed pen, it is not recommended to do so, excess water will erode the root of the brush, many manual brushes are very taboo like this, some people's brushes are easy to "rotten roots" mostly because of this grinding and patting.

3. Shake the pen hard: Some people will habitually do such things whether they are moistening the pen or after washing the pen, but this habit is not good. Now a lot of brushes, in fact, the spring tour is handmade, this kind of practice is very hurtful, affecting the service life of the pen.

When you get a new pen at hand, the tip of the pen will often be glued sealed, and it should be soaked in water to make the pen suitable for the book, which is called "opening the pen". The general steps to start a pen are as follows:

1.Prepare water in the water bowl, submerge the entire tip of the pen into the water, and press a little harder, and the pen will fall apart.

2.Squeeze the pen slightly to let the layer of floating glue on the ridge of the pen come off.

2.In the past, there was a practice of only half of the pen in the south, which should be to make the pen more vigorous, and the principle is similar to that of the core pen, which is easier to control. But the pen is not fully open, the bridge royal pen waist, the pen belly is not used, the control of the pen is only to stay at the tip of the pen, for the control of the pen is not helpful, so it is recommended to completely open the pen.
