In this treatise, we take the "bottle" as an example, and the color and shape of the bottle are called phases. When people say "bottle", while building up the bottle's own body, all other dharmas are removed, and this is the name.

Jingyun: 'But all sentient beings who have attained enlightenment are all human beings. And those who are beyond the reach of others have existed, and the names of all beings are also. ’
Fourth, the life phase of the life of those who are in phase of life, compared with the previous sentient beings, has gone further. It is said that the mind is pure, and the mind that has been enlightened in the appearance of previous beings has been perceived, although it has been perceived, it still has the knowledge of being able to perceive. What a cloud. It is the one who is witnessed by the hearts of all living beings. It is the state that we think, know, and attain mentally or conceptually. It can be understood as thinking about yourself in your heart, thinking about yourself from your own point of view.
What kind of person is the cloud. It is said to be the enlightened person of the minds of all sentient beings. The root of human appearance is my appearance, and with my appearance, I feel that I am different from you and him, and human appearance is differentiated from my appearance. Other people's affairs have nothing to do with me, just have the heart of it!
What a cloud and what a living being. It is said that the minds of all sentient beings, those who are beyond the reach of self-enlightenment. It is easy for people to understand themselves, but it is difficult to understand others, all people think of is themselves, and it doesn't matter how others are, so what you can't think of is the appearance of sentient beings, which is more reflected in selfishness.
Yun He Shou is the face. It is said that all sentient beings have a pure mind, and all karmic wisdom does not see it, and it is like the root of life. Take life and death more seriously.
The root of the four phases of self, people, sentient beings, and longevity is fundamentally the self-phase. Because with me, there is a concept of me, which is mine, and I think it's right and that's wrong; I like it, I hate to wait for me to have my face. With me, then there is you, him, the public, space, time, world, life and death, that is to say, there are human beings, sentient beings, and longevity.
Therefore, the root of these four phases is the self-phase, as long as the self-phase is removed, there is no one, and all beings are in the same life.
