The sutra states that Shakyamuni attained supreme wisdom, and that the Buddha was born in order to educate us with the Mystic Dharma, so that we can also comprehend and attain the same.
However, because we are too stupid to accept it, the Buddha had no choice but to follow our root nature and conveniently speak the teachings of the three vehicles of shravaka, karma, and bodhisattva. Although the three vehicles belong to the same Dharma, the Buddha's original intention is to learn the Bodhisattva Buddha's vehicle, with the ultimate goal of becoming a Buddha. The two vehicles of shravaka and enlightenment are just a convenience to guide us into the Buddha's vehicle.
Therefore, this sutra puts forward the idea of "three into one" to merge the three vehicles and enter into one Buddha vehicle, so that the sound and hearing and the dependent consciousness can be said to be the preparation for entering the Buddha vehicle, which is only a convenient method, that is, an expedient teaching, and only the Buddha vehicle is the true law, which is what later commentators called "opening the power to manifest the reality."
