There are 6 beautiful prairies in China, which are:

1. Eastern Hulunbuir Grassland (Inner Mongolia).

Located in the western foot of the Great Xing'an Mountains, Inner Mongolia Hulunbuir League, west of the Sino-Mongolian, Sino-Russian border, north from the south boundary of the Eshi Gen River, south to the border of China and Mongolia, 300 kilometers from east to west, 200 kilometers from north to south, with a total area of about 100,000 square kilometers, and 80% of the natural grassland area.

2. Ili Grassland (Xinjiang).

The Ili Grassland is developed in the Middle Tianshan Mountains and its intermountain basin in the Tianshan Mountains, one of the largest mountain systems in Asia, surrounded by mountains on the north, east and south, and the western opening welcomes the humid air flow from the west, becoming a unique "wet island" in the desert area, contributing to the development of a complete vertical spectrum of the Ili grassland. It is distributed from high to low in order of alpine meadow, mountain meadow, mountain meadow grassland, mountain meadow, mountain desert grassland, plain desert, river valley meadow, and the diversity is very rich.

3. Qilian Mountain Grassland (in Qinghai).

The average elevation of the Qilian Mountains is between 4,000 and 5,000 meters, and the long and wide glaciers formed by the high mountain snow are spectacular. At an altitude of more than 4,000 meters, it is called the snow line, and above the snow line of the Qilian Mountains, there are often rebellious biological wonders. Among the shallow snowy mountain layers are mushroom-shaped silkworms called snow-capped meadow plants, as well as the precious medicinal herb Alpine Snow Lotus, and a snow-capped mountain grass that grows under wind-eroded rocks.

Therefore, snow lotus, silkworm ornament, and snow mountain grass are collectively known as the "three friends of the cold year" on the snow line of Qilian Mountain. Qilian Mountain Grassland, its representative Damaying Grassland is in the basin between Yanzhi Mountain and Qilian Mountain. Every year, the Qilian Mountains, which are adjacent to the grassland, are still covered in snow, but the grassland is full of blue waters, and horses, cattle, and sheep are dotted among them.

4. Xilin Gol Grassland (Inner Mongolia).

Xilin Gol is a Mongolian word meaning the mother river of the hilly area. Located in the territory of Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with an area of 10,000 hectares, it was established with the approval of the people of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 1985, and was accepted by UNESCO as a member of the "International Network of Biosphere Reserves" in 1987, and was promoted to the national level in 1997. It is one of the world-famous prairies, and it is also the main natural grassland of the four major grasslands in China - Inner Mongolia grassland.

5. Ordos Grassland.

Ordos grassland is located in the territory of Hangjinqi, Ordos City, 9 kilometers away from Sini Town, where the people of Hangjinqi are located. It is 70 kilometers away from the Shizhenri tourist area in the east and 80 kilometers away from the Yemingsha tourist area in the north. It is embraced by the cities of Yinchuan, Wuhai, Linhe, Baotou, Hohhot, Yulin and Ordos.

6. Alpine grassland in western Sichuan (Sichuan).

The alpine grassland of western Sichuan is located in the central part of Ganzi Prefecture in Sichuan, with an area of 70,000 square kilometers with Litang, Ganzi, Xinlong, Baiyu and Batang grasslands as the core. The grassland is 3800-4500 meters above sea level, and the landform of the mountain plain and hilly plateau is fully developed, flat and wide.
