Tan Kah Kee's main influence
In 1904, Tan Kah Kee raised more than 7,000 yuan to establish a pineapple canning factory, known as "New Icheon, and later took over the Rixin Company." In three months, the two factories made a total profit of 40,000 yuan. That is, 2,000 yuan was used to buy seeds, sow them in the pineapple orchard, and then plant them in a large area.
By 1925, it had owned 10,000 acres of rubber plantations, becoming one of the largest rubber cultivators among overseas Chinese, known as Singapore Malaysia.
One of the four pioneers of Rubber King. Later, a rubber products factory was opened to produce rubber shoes, tires and daily necessities.
It has successively set up more than 100 distribution stores in various cities in China, Nanyang and large ports around the world. It also operates rice mills, timber mills, rock sugar factories, biscuit factories, leather shoe and leather factories, etc., with more than 30 factories. At its peak (1925), its business spanned five continents.
It employs more than 30,000 employees and has assets of 12 million yuan (rattan, about ** million taels). His position as the leader of the Chinese merchants in Nanyang was thus established.

Money can be earned again after it is spent, but children will never come back after their study time. Under Tan Kah Kee's patient persuasion, his wife was persuaded to this paragraph (I didn't take a language paper, maybe that's the case).

Overseas Chinese family Chen Jiageng, formerly known as Chen Jiageng, was born on October 21, 1874 in Jimei Society, Tong'an County, Fujian Province (now belonging to Jimei District, Xiamen City) in an overseas Chinese family. His grandfather, Chen Qiju (1795, 1856), did not go abroad in his life, but only in Jimei Society, "frugal and self-controlled, diligent and self-sufficient, in the sea and in the sea, self-sufficiency in farming and fishing". Chen Hairpin had three sons, the eldest name Yingzhong, the second name Yingzhong (1836 1876), and the three Qibai (that is, Chen Jiageng's father, the word Yingru Song).
The three brothers have all gone to Nanyang Xingzhou to do business. When he was young, he opened a rice shop in Lat (the old abbreviation of Singapore, the same below). There is no record of Tan Kah Kee's father's birth date, and it is inferred that he died in Jimei in 1909 after the Opium War.
It is not known when Chen Qibai went abroad, and his marriage to Mrs. Sun Cuo Sun should be in the early 70s of the 19th century, born in 1874 Chen Jiageng and 1889 Chen Jingxian. [1]
