Based on my experience of climbing Changbai Mountain and my family, I can tell you that the higher up Changbai Mountain, the lower the temperature becomes, and it is cold to death.

It's really not tiring to climb this at all, but I think the scenery is indeed much worse than the Tianchi of Changbai Mountain, and the Tianchi that I see when I climb to the top of the mountain does not give people a bright feeling, and it is not even as good as the Rhododendron Lake.

The western slope is the most tiring route, entering the mountain in Songjianghe Town. The scenic environmental protection bus drove directly to the Tianchi parking lot, and then climbed up on foot. It takes an hour or two to walk, which is a test of physical strength, but most people can climb it without any problem.

Look at the Tianchi has a good view and an unobstructed view. The scenery on the road is not bad, it is different from the landscape of the northern slope, there are few trees, and there are large meadows. But there are no particularly good attractions to visit in depth.

The view of Tianchi on the south slope is the most beautiful and has the best perspective! Into the mountain in Changbai County. The bus pulls directly to the top of the mountain, and walks for ten minutes to Tianchi, which is the most effortless.

On the border is the North Korean border, and signs prohibiting crossing the border are hung everywhere. Walking along the border of the Yalu River all the way is very unique. The Changbai Grand Canyon is also spectacular, but it can only be seen from afar. There are basically no attractions along the way that you can play on your own. But I feel that Changbai County is very good, not big, because it is the only Korean autonomous county, there are a lot of delicious food, especially Korean cold noodles, which are too authentic.

There are also dog meat and barbecue, which makes my mouth water just thinking about it. In addition, the fifteen ditches (looking at swans) in the south of Changbai are also very beautiful scenic spots.

So it's a bit of a pity to only go to one slope. Personally, I think that if you have enough time and money, it is better to take two slopes: north slope + west or south.

Each has its own scenery, all good. In the past, the north slope was used to go up at most, but now there are also west and south slopes, and there are fewer people going to the south slope. If you ask how to walk, the western slope is gentle, and you can walk up directly.

Halfway up the north slope to the halfway point, you have to take an off-road vehicle. South Slope I don't know. Changbai Mountain is worth going, the folk customs are simple, recommended.

Personally, I feel that the north slope is better to get to the water.

The west slope overlooks the Tianchi Pond, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.

I went to Changbai Mountain in late autumn at the end of September, which happened to be the Mid-Autumn Festival of that year, which gave me the impression that it was very worthwhile, worth the trip, and it was the only scenery with volcanic characteristics among the top ten famous mountains. In late September, it is late autumn for Changbai Mountain, the weather is very good, the Tianchi on the north slope and the west slope have been seen, it should be said that the Tianchi on the north slope is better-looking, the angle is high and the style is changeable, but it is also colder, the wind on the mountain is not generally large, the temperature is below zero, the down jacket must be worn, the west slope Tianchi is relatively flat, but the 1442 steps are very good experience, but in late September, some scenic spots on the west slope will be closed, overall, the autumn colors on the mountain are not visible, the mountain is still good, Wanda Resort can also play for half a day, I went to climb the hill over there, and it was amazing.

Changbai Mountain in autumn, very beautiful, the most beautiful autumn color is the swan of fifteen ditches, it is the time to see the maple leaves, and from the west slope to the way to the swan, the autumn color of the whole northeast Daxing'an Mountains, is an unforgettable beauty. If you like to travel in the mountains and rivers, the real experience of Changbai Mountain is definitely better than you imagined, if you are going to "Notes on Tomb Robbery" and want to find the scenes in the book, then you should avoid it.

The Changbai Mountain seen in different seasons should be very different, I went to the eleventh period, when the temperature under the mountain was still in late autumn, and the Tianchi was already snowy. Green Abyss Pond, the water is very clear. Waterfalls, just small waterfalls, and many other attractions. It's the snow on the mountain, from a distance, it's quite spectacular, for me who has never seen a snow-capped mountain.

The hot spring is small, but when it is foggy, it feels a little cloudy. I feel that the swan scenic spot, very beautiful, like a fairy tale forest in autumn, colorful, there are very few people, the only bad thing is that it is far away from the Erdao White River, closer to the west slope, three hours by car.

Beyond imagination, highly recommended! As someone who grew up in Yanbian, I once drove some people there, but I was not interested. Until I left home for more than ten years, I felt that I should go once!

It is said that a certain national leader has never seen the true face of Changbai Mountain three times, and I have a good character. That vastness, that blue, that shock! Let me, a Northeast person who has lived in Shanghai for more than ten years, can't help but be impressed by the beauty of the land where I was born and raised!

As a five-A scenic spot, Changbai Mountain is not like some domestic scenic spots that are full of tourists and selling things, and the small traffic in the scenic spot can be taken unlimited times. It is said that now in winter, the ticket for three days of unlimited entry is really good, and it is suitable for sightseeing and relaxation.
