4. When will the patent mitigation application be filed?
The patent applicant or patentee can only request a reduction in the fees that have not yet expired. The request for reduction of the application fee shall be filed at the same time as the patent application, and the request for reduction of other fees may be filed at the same time as the patent application, or two and a half months before the expiration of the relevant fee payment period. Where a request for reduction is not submitted within the prescribed time limit, the reduction shall not be granted.
5. What supporting materials are required for patent application?
Where a patent applicant or patentee requests a reduction in the payment of patent fees, a written request for a reduction in fees and relevant supporting materials shall be submitted. If a patent applicant or patentee submits a request for reduction of patent fees through the patent affairs service system and is reviewed and approved for filing, it only needs to submit a request for fee reduction within a natural year, and no more relevant supporting materials need to be submitted.
6. What are the uses of a patent application?
