1.Unplugging the power and battery immediately, and the speed of power outage is the most critical factor that directly determines the severity of the laptop's damage. Don't start shutting down slowly, and then shut down when the system shuts down normally. If it's slow, it's quite dangerous.

2.Pour out the water immediately depending on the direction of the water inlet and quickly dry it with a dry towel or paper towel. If there is water on the top of the keyboard, immediately turn the keyboard down (be careful not to let the water flow into the LCD screen), and try to pour out the water to avoid more water entering the motherboard.

3.If water gets into the keyboard, remove the keyboard and observe if the water enters the motherboard. Carefully dry the front and back of the keyboard with a paper towel.

If possible, you can use a hair dryer to dry it with cold air, and be careful not to use hot air, because the keyboard keys and other keys are plastic, which is not resistant to high temperatures, do not use hot air, and avoid blowing damage. If the liquid is cola, vegetable soup, etc., you need to remove some of the buttons and carefully scrub them with pure alcohol. Because cola and other substances contain sugar, if it is not clear, it will corrode the wiring over time and cause damage to the keyboard.

4.Completely disassemble the motherboard, if you don't know how to disassemble the motherboard yourself, it's best to ask a friend who knows more to help disassemble it. Observe whether there are water stains on the motherboard, and if so, carefully wipe it clean with pure alcohol.

I use high-quality plate washing water to scrub the motherboard in notebook repair, but this kind of plate washing water is not available to ordinary people, and it is difficult to buy it in the electronics market in Beijing, not the kind of ordinary plate washing water. This can be replaced by pure alcohol, Note 1 must use pure alcohol, not aqueous alcohol. Then dry the motherboard, or the hair dryer should not be too high, and pay attention to protect the plastic connectors on the motherboard.

5.Carefully dispose of the moisture inside and outside the laptop case, put the treated motherboard and keyboard in a dry place for one to two days, and then confirm that all the moisture has dried thoroughly before reassembling it. It must not be powered on and turned on before processing.
