How to read Amitabha

Some people ask, is it to recite Ah (Yinwo) Buddha or Ah (Yin) Buddha Buddha? Aṇṣṇṭ� After Buddhism was introduced to China, China was a vast country with many dialects, and there were many people who recited the Buddha Buddha and passed away while sitting or standing.

So, we don't have to cling to the sound, we have to focus on the purity of the mind. No matter how correct the pronunciation is, it may not be possible to die, because the condition for passing away is that the heart is pure, and the land is pure. The "Amitabha Sutra" says that the conditions for passing away are to believe, earnestly wish, and hold the name, and never forget the name of Amitabha Buddha.

Therefore, if you read Ah you can be reborn, and you can also die if you recite Ah (Yin Wo). The old master is a native of Yingkou, he recites the Buddha of Ah (Yinwo) Mi (Yinyi), and he sits and dies. This shows that the heart is sincere, and the heart is really a Buddha.

The top of the word is "today", and the bottom is "heart", which means that I now have a Buddha in my heart. It's not enough to think of having a Buddha, it's just planting good roots; I have to remember that I have a Buddha mind, and my mind is the same as a Buddha mind. What is a Buddha's mind?

Equanimity. Therefore, our minds are pure and equal, which is reciting the Buddha, reciting the Buddha's mind.

Wish, recite the Buddha's wish, and turn Amitabha's wish into your own. My heart, wishes, and understanding are the same as those of Amitabha Buddha, so I will establish a consensus with Amitabha. That is to say, to turn the teachings of the three sutras into one's own thoughts and opinions.

When our hearts, wishes, understandings, and actions are corrected according to what the Three Scriptures say, all karmic obstacles are completely removed.

When we recite the Buddha's name, our heart, our wishes, our understanding, and our actions are all in it, and our faith, wishes, and actions are also in one Buddha name. Not only that, but the Three Learnings, the Six Degrees, and the Ten Wishing Kings are all in this Buddha name. The meaning contained in this Buddha name is immeasurable, so the merit of the name is incredible!

Therefore, if you can't read it, you can't read it, and if you can't read it, you can read it on the lips, and it is not corresponding; Those who know how to read will have a corresponding heart, wish, understanding, and action. One thought corresponds to one thought of the Buddha, and one thought corresponds to the recitation of the Buddha, this is the real repentance of karma, this is the real practice.

If you read it, you have to read it to that extent.

It's too little, you have to keep chanting, for up to 7 days, don't eat anything, don't meet anyone, don't sleep, don't think about anyone, don't care about anything, you're hungry, you're not tired, don't think about any distracting thoughts, just keep chanting the Buddha, keep thinking about the Buddha, think about Amitabha.

Usually chanting Buddha is like training soldiers, and the most important thing is that the last thought decides that you will go. When dying, if you don't recite a sentence of Amitabha Buddha, you can also pass away.

When chanting the Buddha, you should let go of all the fates, relax your body and mind, chant wholeheartedly, and in your daily life, you can recite the Buddha (silent recitation) at any time, and at the same time make good karma and establish more good deeds. If you are not sure when you are dying, you can explain the arrangements for the future in advance, ask friends to help you remember, and decide to die!

The old lady doesn't know much about the teachings of the Pure Land religion, but she has deep roots in goodness, and she believes it when she hears it, and she doesn't doubt it at all, she doesn't confuse it, it's really rare and rare!

This is a passage from Master Lotus Chi in "Mida Shu Yuan". It also depends on understanding what kind of intention he had in asking this question. It is because Master Lotus Chi talked a lot about the merits of reciting the Buddha by name, and as long as the Buddha is recited by the name, Amitabha Buddha will come to receive him when he is dying.

For this passage, some people raised a question: You have said so much about the merits of reciting the Buddha, but I have seen that some people have been reciting the Buddha all their lives, and they may not be able to determine their death when they die. There is a key issue to be identified here.

He has been reciting the Buddha's name all his life, and there are indeed some who have not died at the end of his life. So did he recite the Buddha all his life with sufficient faith and desire to recite the Buddha? Therefore, if you have enough conviction and desire to recite the Buddha, you will definitely be able to die.

He may just be unwilling to live and die, reciting the Buddha's name. There are a lot of people who ask him about the purpose of reciting the Buddha, "Oh, I just want to be in better health, not to get so sick when I die, or to turn into a man in the next life, it's too uncomfortable to be a woman, and so on." He is such a mentality, you say that he has been reciting Buddha all his life, can he die?

He was not convinced.

The banknote further explained that this "Yoyo disciple, who recites Buddha all his life", this "Yoyo disciple", Yoyo just doesn't matter, tell me to chant Buddha, okay, it's not bad, it doesn't matter if you don't chant Buddha, it seems to be dispensable, this is Yoyo. He didn't say that chanting Buddha is the biggest thing in my life, I will go to hell if I don't chant Buddha in this life, I won't change what I use to exchange for this chanting Buddha, he devotes his whole life to chanting Buddha, that is, diligent chanting Buddha, then he is not a leisurely disciple. Now there are too many of them, and if they don't have enough conviction and earnestness, it's really hard for him to sense the power of the Buddha's wishes, and if he can't sense it, he really can't die.

This can't be said that he is reciting the Buddha in his mouth, and his heart is completely something else that can be reborn, and it is not so easy.

In the afterlife, you say that it is easy to cultivate ten thousand people, but the premise must be to believe in the earnest wish. If you say it's difficult, it's also very difficult to die, because you are a karmic ordinary man in the Dharma realm, how can you go to the solemn land of retribution in the Dharma realm? That's a very difficult thing.

So this, if you don't have enough, it means that there is something wrong with his faith, although he also recites the Buddha, but he is not diligent, he is slack and relaxed, and in fact, there is a problem with his faith. If there is a problem with the faith, so he can't be single-minded, and he still talks about the problem of the faith, so he can't die. If he really has his intentions, here he talks about planting the causes of rebirth even though he is not born in this life, that is, he cannot be reborn in this life, but he can also plant the causes of future rebirth.

Whether or not you can die depends on your usual practice, and you don't have a single thought. The true rebirth is known only to him, or if the great master of the Tao has discernment and can know. Passing away is a process of spiritual practice.

If you can be pure to that level, you can die. But when I am in pain, I don't have the concentration, and I am afraid that it will be more difficult to die, so I still have to bring up my mindfulness.

In addition, the question of whether or not the industry can be reborn, in fact, the so-called industry is only to bring the old business, not the new business. What is the difference between a new business and an old business? If you have taken the three refuges and are able to practice strictly and not create new karma, then you are carrying the old karma.

If you don't have the three refuges, then all the karma you create is new karma and you can't be reborn. With karma to the past, we can only bring the old karma. Confusion and karma are originally the same, where there is karma, there is confusion, and when there is confusion, there is karma.

For there are eighty-eight kinds of confusion, some coarse, some fine, and some subtle. We've just suppressed our confusion, and if we can control it to this extent, we can die. We have to control greed and hatred and prevent it from taking effect, so that we can bring the old karma to life, not the new karma.

The main sentence is to prescribe wisdom. Based on the vows, don't think about anything else.

If you can't recite the Buddha due to illness at the end of your life, you can pass away, but this person must have a heart for the Buddha and do good deeds and accumulate virtue before death. In fact, chanting Buddha is just a way to help your mind reach the point of non-existence. Because we have too many distractions.

If you can't recite the Buddha, you can also go down to the next life, and the next life is not able to recite the Buddha, and others will recite the Buddha next to you or say that the sick person will let go and be reborn in the Pure Land. The most important thing is that someone recites the Buddha or the Dharma on the side, and uses this power to return to the Pure Land after the death of the sick.

There is a possibility of suicide and reciting the Buddha in the past life. But it's very dangerous to do this, suicide is very painful, it's also very terrifying, and in this case, who can guarantee that you can still remember to recite the Buddha? As soon as the karmic obstacle comes up, not blaspheming the Buddha is considered to be a good root.

For example, if a person has a toothache, the toothache is not considered a disease, does anyone think of chanting Buddha? Can I still remember chanting Buddha when I have a tooth extracted? Further, when turning teeth, can anyone still believe in Buddha and recite Buddha? They were all scared.

To develop bodhicitta is to concentrate on it all the time. Don't do anything else, practice with a straight heart. Straight heart is the dojo.

"When he kills himself before he has time to come, when he is killed, he has lost his mind. Moreover, the suffering is indescribable. If the mind is not righteous, how can it correspond to the Buddha and be guided by the Buddha. , the final understanding is: If the senior brother has not reached the kung fu of walking with both legs in a circle, then at the moment when he is about to commit suicide, there is no righteous thought in his heart. Moreover, the process of suicide was very painful, unspeakable, and all of my mindfulness was lost.

Nature cannot die.

Dharma is the Dharma of the mind. The key to practice is to have no distinction between the mind.

Committing suicide in such a hurry is contrary to Buddhism.

What's more, human life is rare and has been obtained now.

It is also necessary to cherish the human body and practice well.

Life is unsatisfactory, and sooner or later it will pass.

A variety of good causes, more recitation of the Buddha.

Wouldn't it be better to go to the West to bring karma to life, and to have more good fortune before going?

How do you know if others know? You just know that you know.

The wicked will always be a good person in one life and have made offerings to the Buddhas, so the Buddhas have appeared in this life.

Suicide is like crossing a river with your legs tied, and only demons can do this.

When Venerable Yinguang was dying, he said: Reciting the Buddha and seeing the Buddha and deciding to be born in the West (the decision is certain) that you should be reborn will naturally pick you up, but if you can't be reborn, it is useless to commit suicide, and besides, your idea has violated the true meaning of the Dharma and is no different from the evil law.
