Although the water is turbulent, it is clear and shallow, and there are many swimming fish, and herons often forage here. It stuck its feet in the water, motionless like a branch, until a careless fish swam to its mouth, and then pecked at it. Just as the heron was waiting intently, the rapids suddenly hit the solid rock, and the splashed water droplets hit the heron like small stones, so frightened that it "fluttered" and spread its wings and flew away.

When it realized that it was a false alarm, it flew down peacefully and landed where it was. As a result, the creek returned to its original tranquility.
