Color is emptiness, emptiness is color" This sentence comes from the Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra. The Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra, or Heart Sutra for short, is the most popular Buddhist sutra in China. It is said that this is a conversation between Guanyin Bodhisattva and Saribuddha Buddha.

In Buddhist circles, the Heart Sutra is highly evaluated. It is believed that the Heart Sutra is the sum of the Buddhist scriptures, and if you understand the Heart Sutra, you will get started by reading the Buddhist scriptures.

In Buddhism, this sentence basically expounds the concept of the emptiness of all things, which is to make us understand that everything has no eternal manifestation and that everything will be scattered, and to teach us not to be attached to all things, so that our body and mind are not at ease. As a result, some people talk about emptiness but love emptiness, but in fact, there is no difference between loving the world and loving emptiness, and it is the same as clinging to it and not letting go. People who love emptiness abandon everything in order to seek an empty word, and in the end there is still an idea of "emptiness" that cannot be removed.

As everyone knows, everything is empty, and the idea of abandonment and non-abandonment is empty, and the thought of renunciation is no longer empty, and the thought of loving emptiness is already "being". It shows that color and emptiness are not in the way of hindrance and are the same. Those who are obsessed with color do not understand that "color is emptiness", and those who are obsessed with emptiness do not understand that "emptiness is color".

There is also a saying that "silence is silence", I don't know if you have heard it. It's the same thing. Silence is not to teach people to hide in a quiet place, not to listen to it, that is equivalent to using a static word to bind oneself, unable to move, what's the good?

True stillness is the stillness of the mind rather than the form, which is to maintain a quiet state of mind when it is the busiest, and not to be disturbed and irritable by external objects. I appreciate this statement, and at the same time I am contemplating this state of mind. Isn't it more meaningful to feel that maintaining the stillness of the mind in the midst of the hustle and bustle is more meaningful than those who spend their days in silence, or who are in silence and whose heart is not still?

color'It refers to all things that are tangible. This is the result of causes, not as it is, and therefore its body is empty. This is called 'color is emptiness.''。

Treat nature with a Buddha heart, look up to and respect nature; Buddha is like a mountain, as long as there is perseverance, the Buddha is at ease in the heart, everyone can become a Buddha, but becoming a Buddha is like climbing a mountain, you need to pay, you need to work hard to climb, so it is not easy.

Four layers of meaning.

The first layer: This is the tall Leshan Giant Buddha.

The second layer: there is a Buddha in the heart, and when you see the mountain, you see the Buddha; Believe in the Buddha, see the Buddha as if you see the mountain.

The third layer: the unity of Foshan, similar to the Taoist concept, is regarded as the unity of Buddhism and Taoism.

The fourth level: Mutual Photography and Mutual Penetration: 'Prajna and the Dharma are neither the same nor the other.

(Prajna Sutra). The appearance of the world (outward) is the essence, and all things are in their place and ingested each other. class "The world is the Buddha, the Buddha is the world".

In layman's terms, the essence of the world is that all things merge and ingest each other.

A Buddha is born in all things, and there is no difference between a Buddha and all things.

This sentence mainly tells us to have a mentality and maintain a due awe and worship for the natural laws of all things in the world. There is no discernment and no attachment to everything.

From the secular sense, there are mountains and Buddhas, and from the truth of the victory, the mountains and Buddhas are the same sect, which is pure emptiness.

"The mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is a mountain", which is a true portrayal of the integration of humanity and natural scenery in Leshan Buddha Mountain, and it is also a praise for the ancient stone carving art.
