If the motor shaft rotates flexibly, the starting capacitance of the electric fan motor needs to be measured. First, use a multimeter R 100 to measure the resistance value at both ends of the starting capacitor of the motor and the resistance value of the running, starting and speed regulating windings of the entire electric fan motor, that is, the resistance value of the black and yellow leads. Write down the resistance first, and then measure the 2nd and 3rd gears, normally speaking, the larger the measured gear, the greater the resistance between the capacitor line and the capacitor line. That is to say, if the resistance value of the above three gears is infinity, or a certain gear is infinite, it means that the motor coil is burned or the coil of a certain gear is broken. Finally, measure the 5 wires and the motor housing, that is, whether there is a short circuit in the ground.

The capacitance of the starting capacitor is reduced. When the fan is used for a long time, the capacitance capacity will decrease, resulting in the starting torque of the motor becoming smaller, and the load cannot be driven.
In many cases, the reason why the fan blades do not rotate is poor maintenance. If the blade is stiff after turning off the power, you should use some lubricating oil to drip into the shaft so that it can be lubricated so as not to affect the motor to drag the blade.
For the fan blades caused by wear and tear do not rotate, the easiest thing is to replace the parts, especially the shaft sleeve, which is easy to burn off after wear.
If the capacitor capacity becomes smaller and the fan does not rotate, you can remove the capacitor and replace it with a new capacitor of the same model, it is recommended to choose a capacitor that is 20% larger than the original capacitor, which will have a better rotation effect.
If the axial clearance of the shaft is too large, you can choose to adjust the gasket after disassembling the motor. However, remember that when installing the motor back to slip and close, it should be noted that the rotor must be concentric with the bearing, and the lubrication screws should be slowly tightened diagonally, and finally the shaft should be knocked with a wooden handle to ensure that it is concentric.
If it is due to an electrical fault, you can check the wiring of each wiring, and sometimes if the wiring is damaged, you can repair the problem.
