The computer has a sound card but no sound, please follow the steps below:
1. Check whether the connection between the host and the speaker is loose or broken, whether the power supply of the speaker is turned on, and whether the volume knob of the speaker is turned off to the minimum.
2. For the independent sound card, check whether the sound card is in good contact with the motherboard slot, and reseat the sound card once.
For motherboard-integrated sound cards, check if it is disabled in the BIOS. Solution: When you start the computer, go to the BIOS settings (generally press and hold the DEL key), "Integrated Peripherals", find the sound card item (commonly known as AC97 Audio) in the window that appears, and set it to"auto"or "enabled."", find the ON board AC97 control, and set it to Enabled", and then store exit, enter the system after installing the driver for the sound card.
3. Open "Device Manager" to check whether there is any problem with the driver installed on the sound card. Workaround: Right-click on the desktop"My computer"Select"attributes"Eject"System properties"Window: Select the "Hardware" page, press the "Device Manager(d)" button, and pop up the "Device Manager" window to check"Sound, **, and game controllers"or "multi** audio controller" before there is no "!
or "? "If it is stated that the sound card driver is corrupted, find the drive disk of the sound card and reinstall the driver (if the sound card is integrated with the motherboard, the driver is in the driver disc of the motherboard).
If there is still no sound after the sound card driver is installed correctly, check the following two aspects:
1. Disable the sound card in the "Device Manager". Workaround: Go to "Device Manager"."Sound, **, and game controllers"branch, find the sound card item (if it is disabled, there is an "x" on the speaker in front of it) and select it, then press the "Enable" button in the toolbar.
2. Turn off the volume in the sound properties. Solution: Go to the "Control Panel", double-click the "Sound and Audio Devices" item, pop up the "Sound and Audio Device Properties" window, select the "Volume" page, adjust the volume adjustment slider to the appropriate position, and tick the "Put the volume adjustment icon into the taskbar (i)", OK and exit.
-
Double-click the volume icon to see if the waveform item is muted.

Some users may encounter some problems in the process of using the speaker,For example, the speaker suddenly has no sound,If you encounter this kind of speaker failure, don't rush to send it for repair,Fix it yourself,So,What should I do if the speaker has no sound? Let's find out with me!
1. Silent
1.The speaker wiring is broken or the crossover is abnormal.
When the speaker wiring is broken, the speaker unit does not have an excitation voltage, which will cause a silent failure. Frequency dividers are generally not easy to break, but failures such as desoldering of lead joints and short circuits of crossover capacitors may occur.
2.The voice coil is broken.
You can use the multimeter R 1 gear to measure the solder lug of the speaker lead-out wire, if the resistance value is , you can use a knife to scrape the sealing paint of the lead wire at both ends of the voice coil, expose the bare copper wire and then test, if it is still not through, it means that the internal wire of the voice coil is broken; If the measurement has been passed and there is"Titicaca"sound, it indicates that the voice coil lead is broken, you can solder the thread well, and then use another piece of enameled wire similar to the voice coil winding to solder it.
3.The speaker leads are broken.
Due to the frequent vibration of the speaker cone, the braided wire is prone to breakage, and sometimes the wire is broken, but the cotton core wire remains connected. This type of braided wire is not readily available and can be replaced with a slightly longer flexible wire.
4.The voice coil burned.
Measure the speaker leads with the multimeter R 1 if the resistance value is close to 0 and there is none"Titicaca"sound, it indicates that the voice coil is burned. Before replacing the voice coil, you should first remove the debris in the magnetic gap, and then carefully put the new voice coil into the magnetic gap, straighten the voice coil, and fix the voice coil with super glue while listening. In the upper and lower positions, after the voice coil is placed in the best position, fill the gap between the voice coil and the paper cone to about half with super glue, and finally seal the dust cover, turn the speaker paper cone up, and place it for a day before it can be used normally.
Second, the sound comes and goes
1.Poor speaker leads.
It is usually caused by mildew or poor welding of the voice coil lead, and when the paper cone vibrates frequently, the break point is sometimes connected and sometimes disconnected, forming an irregular sound and no sound fault.
2.The voice coil leads are broken or about to be short-circuited.
3.The power amplifier output socket is in poor contact or the speaker input line is disconnected.
Third, the volume is low
1. Poor contact with sockets and signal wires. Check that the speaker is energized and that the signal lines are in good contact.
2. The most common fault of the power amplifier is the bad capacitor or burning the power amplifier tube, which has the problem of our use, but most of them are unstable in the equipment itself.
3. Some power amplifiers will have a channel without sound failure, the problem is still the circuit problem inside.
4. As for other faults, there are other problems such as bad contact of power amplifier volume potentiometer, unbalanced left and right channels, too frequent protection function, poor contact of the rear panel working transfer switch and signal socket, in short, power amplifier is a kind of electrical equipment that is more prone to failure in the audio system.
5. The most common failure of the speaker is of course the horn problem, which can be said to be the most likely failure in a sound system is to burn out the speaker.
6. Another common fault of the speaker is that the wiring port is aging and the contact is poor, especially the speaker that often flows is prone to this failure.

The sound of the speaker is not sound, it is caused by the sound setting error, and the solution is:
1. First open the "Control Panel".
<>3. Then click on the yellow folder icon in the upper right corner.
4. At this time, we see that "Prohibit front panel jack detection" is checked.
5. Finally, we uncheck "Disable front panel jack detection" and click "OK" to complete.
