An essay on a self righteous discovery in childhood

Childhood discoveries.

In my happy childhood, there were always interesting things happening, and there were also some strange discoveries. But in my habit of getting things straight, these discoveries eventually led me to find out. What I can remember as the greatest discovery I made was when I went to Xiaobei when I was eight years old.

That day, after catching three fish, my aunt and I spotted butterflies flying around among the flowers. We were all very excited and decided to definitely catch a few butterflies to take home with us before leaving.

I managed to catch a white butterfly, which surprised me because I love white butterflies the most! My aunt also caught a few of them, and she looked at the white butterflies I caught, and said, "Just ask for the one you caught!"

So, she released all three butterflies she caught. I pinched the butterfly's wings with my right hand, for fear that it would run away. After a while, my right hand got tired and I switched to my left hand.

When I looked at my right hand again, I saw that there was a lot of white powder on my hand! What the hell is going on here? Could it be that the wings of butterflies are specially made of powder?

So what does it do with all this? I couldn't come up with a correct answer, but I thought about a long list of questions.

As soon as I got home, I couldn't wait to turn on my computer and go online to look up questions about this. I finally found the answer: it turned out that the so-called "powder" on the wings of a butterfly was actually a kind of scale when viewed under a microscope, and it was scale powder that caught it in my hand.

These scales serve two purposes: one is protective, and these butterflies use scales to protect their wings, just like fish use scales to protect their bodies. The second is to reduce the friction of the butterfly when flying, so that the butterfly will not feel so tired when flying.

After learning of this result, I happily told my aunt and even the whole family about it, because I found it myself and solved the doubts myself!

I'm 8 years old, but I'm so good at making noodles! Even on the first floor, you can smell the noodles that I have just made and failed out of the pot! When it was time to start making noodles, I put the pot in place and prepared water, vegetables, and noodles. I'm starting to make noodles, me.
