Subsequently, Shi Jingjiao destroyed the Later Tang Dynasty, set the capital of Bianliang, and the country name was "Jin".

Shi Jingjiao's practice of ceding the sixteen states of Yanyun to the Khitan also had a far-reaching impact on later generations, directly resulting in the northern land north of the Yellow River and the east of the Yellow River almost undefended, exposing itself to the threat of foreign tribes, creating extremely favorable conditions for the Khitan, Jurchen, and Mongols to invade the Central Plains in the south for more than 400 years.
