Rui Costa joined Benfica at the age of 10 when he was selected by the then Benfica youth team coach and Portuguese legend Eusebio during a trial for Benfica.
Rui Costa began his career in 1990 on loan at AD FAFE. He returned to Benfica in the summer of 1991 and remained with Benfica until 1994. During this time, he won one Cup of Portugal (1992–93) and one Portuguese Serie A (1993–94, the highest division of the Portuguese league) for Benfica.
In 1994, Rui Costa moved to Fiorentina, Italy for $6 million. He played for this club for 7 seasons, winning 2 Coppa Italia (-01) and 1 Italian Super Cup (1996). Rui Costa captained the team in 2000 but left the team just one season later.
In the summer of 2001, Rui Costa joined AC Milan for a huge transfer fee of $35 million, becoming the most expensive player in AC Milan's history. Rui Costa reached the pinnacle of his career glory with five seasons at AC Milan. During this time, Rui Costa won one Coppa Italia (2002-03), one UEFA Champions League (2002-03), one UEFA Super Cup (2003), one Serie A (2003-04) and one Italian Super Cup (2004) with AC Milan.

In the penalty shoot-out in the 1991 final, Rui Costa converted the winning penalty. He is the best player in world football - AC Milan striker Andrei Shevchenko. There is no scandal to be found in Rui, no discord can be found. Whether it is in the Purple Lily or AC Milan, even if he plays against his old club for the new owner, there are fans who go to pick him up.
He was never booed, but cheered even more than his own players, which is Rui's charm.
If Zidanebi is a wild guru, then Costa is undoubtedly a poet who is always looking for the best sentences.
Frankly, it's really hard to value Rui's years of green career, just as you marvel at his lethal and accurate passes, and as you applaud every beautiful green solo he plays. You may be surprised to learn that such a once-in-a-year football talent has not won any personal accolades in a career of more than ten years, and if we had to add some personal accolades to him, it may only be that in 2000, Rui narrowly lost to Figo in the Portuguese Footballer of the Year award to finish second, which is the only personal accolade of Rui's multi-year career.
Compared to other stars with a lot of personality, he just chews gum with a faint look on his face, and walks leisurely on the green field. Rui Costa's running is a great rhythm, like the harmony and lightness of a deer on the prairie. He doesn't like to run like a lightning race with his opponent like Figo, another big name in the national team, nor does he like the exaggerated and frivolous "scissor feet" of Brazilian Denilson.
His sense of time and space was superb, and in the subtle swing, he took advantage of the momentary astonishment of his opponent to float by. He never has the luxury of constantly passing people, and the only thing he is brewing is to spy on the killing machine and kill him in the slight change of the situation. Everywhere, he is the strong heart of the team.
Once upon a time, the Portuguese had long been the midfield brain of Fiorentina, and it was Batistuta who completed the batigoal, of course, and it was Rui Costa who created the batigoal! When the Argentine swept all the accolades and medals with his powerful shot, Costa would smile and hug him like a green leaf surrounded by flowers. This smile is a kind of relief and joy of the cultivator, as if every drop of sweat paid by hard work has turned into the elixir of the fruit.
Like a behind-the-scenes strategist, Costa watched his brilliant ideas turn into abundant victories. He was a talented playwright whose inspiration activated the potential of the stars in front of him – whether it was Barty or Gomez or now Shevchenko and Inzaghi.

The biographies of "Historical Records" are very well written and very exciting, "The Biography of Uncle Boyi", "The Biography of Qu Yuan", "The Biography of the Marquis of Huaiyin", "The Biography of Li Guanglie"? (The name is a little unclear) "Lian Po Lin is like a biography" is more exciting. The literature of the historical records is beautiful, concise, and relatively easy to read.
